Sounds great! Non-peak times are definitely the best!

Might be getting a car this summer so transport may not be an issue in the end, then again, I may not so who knows haha :P

Bump, I'm still interested, but I'll need transport because I am on minimum wage.

Well I'm certainly available for the most part. Haven't been coastering since March now and getting withdrawal symptoms. :P
Just as a side note, there is also the matter of crowds.
August - Mid September = Busy
Mid September - Mid October = Quiet

Only really Wolves matches that cause me any issue during those months.

Welll, I'll be working and I have no idea how busy it would be around that time. So I'll probably stick to last minute decisions. :)

Here are my thoughts:

Alton Towers - possibly August as I doubt it'll be top of people's "too visit" list this year...
Drayton Manor - September sometime - although I'm only available first weekend and third weekend.
Thorpe Park - Middle October - late opening times 4tw.

Perhaps not very ambitious trip wise but I'm very conscious of how much transport we have available (ie. me and Dan) and peoples relative location and weekend availability (not much).

Feedback?

Initial Proposed Dates:

Midweek October (Tue/Wed): Alton Towers
Weekend September 26-27: Oakwood (My birthday weekend - Eindhoven maybe a tad expensive after some thought)
October 11th (Sunday): Drayton Manor
October 25th (Sunday): Thorpe Park <- This clashes with an ECC date in Blackpool - could be a potential tag along...

My clashes with those dates:

Sep 26th is Preston away, which is a 5,000 ticket allocation, so we always go to it if possible lol.

October 24th is a Saturday and we're at home to Boro. But if you meant Sunday the 25th, I'm all in!

The other dates and places are cool with me!

all are fine with me, I'll just need to know who can give me a lift from bedfordshire (around about luton/bedford area) on those dates, or if I'll need to book public transport.

wink wink

I would be able to say if I can join or not, when these dates are closing in. They are too far away for me to judge my days off.

If you lived in a proper part of the country, I could have given you a lift

Thorpe isn't a problem as you're roughly on the way.

The others however you're about 2 hours in the wrong direction. I don't mind picking people up from slightly closer though so it depends on where you can get transport to. We also have a spare room which might be of use!

Correct, the ol' Pinfari is a classic that's for sure. They also have a ladybug coaster.

Just to add into the mix I've got a spare room so it would be possible to travel up to mine on the Saturday and then travel back afterwards on the Sunday via public transport if that helps people?

Would probably have to give the Alton Towers trip a miss due to uni, depending on my timetable that is, but all the Sunday trips are good for me! :)
