Nickelodeon Universe to remove Falling Star

Danny Phantom Ghost Zone, the Chance Falling Star at Nickelodeon Universe, will be closing permanently this Saturday according to the park's Facebook page. It's too bad that they have to remove a classic old ride like this, but I guess the park decided it's time to move on.

The ride's location takes up a decent amount space, so I assume something new will show up there sometime soon. Personally, I'd like to see them add a Zamperla Air Race because those look like a lot of fun based on videos I've seen of them.

This is sad It didn't run quite as good as other falling stars though, but it was still a relaxing ride. Hopefully Jimmy Neutron isn't next :/ but if it is, I could see a new coaster going in those two spots... especially because the park really needs a coaster that focuses on airtime

It's actually a pretty fun ride lol. Perfect floater air generator. But hopefully something even more exciting takes its place.

called that pack in April lol. Actually... posted it in my trip report! The Balloon race is also supposed to be going. DP (heh) was said to be replaced by a more modern pendulum flat from Chance and the balloon race I think was going to be replaced by a Samba Tower.

I love those too, my favorite flat ride of all time is the smaller carnival version, the KMG Freak Out. Although, it might be too similar to Airbender, but I don't see them keeping that one much longer either, seeing as it's the ride that's down the most often.

I guess it's possible for them to fit in some coaster with a small footprint there, but I think a flat ride is more likely right now.

If a height limit permits, America's tallest "Mad Mouse" with a combo of sharp bends (not today's "Wild Mouse" with twisted parts) should come there!

Highly unlikely, considering that Fairly Odd Bitch is basically a spinning wild mouse with twisted parts and it is right next to this ride haha. If it's gonna be a coaster.... which it won't be.... I've always imagined/hoped for a really compact woodie, GG or otherwise, maybe like Twister at Grona =P The park has a few empty spots of land around that area haha. Who knows what could happen.

i thought that was called a KMG afterburner?

The afterburner has more seats, and swings from left to right instead of front to back. The one sold by Chance is the ground mount version of the afterburner.
