Mcrolly and I introduce to you, Hypersonic- A new era of space flight training. While waiting on more work for Project Xibalba him and I were talking last night about how we can deliver a fully themed coaster in only a short amount of time. We both laughed at the statement I just made but soon realized we should give it a shot! Work began immediately as we both set a timer for 5 hours. Within the 3 hour mark track work was beginning to take shape and some scenery was being made. We both soon realized that 5 hours was not enough time to complete this all so we bumped it up a few days.

Within the first five hours we both knew what theme, track style, and name we were going with. We both knew we wanted some sort of space flight that was set in the future as well as a thrilling layout that you could find in the future. After knowing we wanted space flight as a theme, we then considered Space Training. We both loved the idea and went with that theme. Modeling began and people were being contacted left and right for some help (Kyle Sloane, TallonD93, TTD03). After reaching out to others we began thinking of names. Many were said before we both agreed on Hypersonic.

This ride features custom audio, scenery, scripts, textures, and a custom track.

Story: coming soon

Hypersonic Space Training will be opening soon to the public. Follow this thread for constant updates regarding the project.

*Disclaimer: We are still hard at work on Project Xibalba, this is just a small side project to see how much can be done in a certain amount of time.

Special thanks to:

Kyle Sloane- Permission to use his env.
TallonD93- Cartextures
TTD03- Music Scripts

So is it a hypercoaster or a giga?

This reminds me of Turbo's unfinished coaster Infinity for some reason.

Looks great so far (even the rocket/launchpad and radio tower thing. Who modelled it?). Wow, how many projects are you balancing at once Blase?

Thank you! and I found the rocket on some site, I then imported it into sketchup and modeled around it. I honestly could've modeled the rocket on my own however due to the time restraint (5 hours) we set for ourselves, I knew that wouldn't have been possible. I may go back and make the rocket my own.

Reminds me of "NASA" having tried building a coaster attached on a launch tower before! (For a special purpose, though. ;) )

See this fun and educational article (back to the year 2007) if you want to: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/tech/science/space/2007-05-28-nasa-roller-coaster-escape_N.htm :)

Special purpose = A 'roller coaster' escape.
