Since making one thread for all of your projects is the thing to do now, I guess it's time I followed up. A lot of this stuff I never finish (about 98%) but If I create something I like and get some motivation to finish it, I'll definitely complete it. Here's what I'll start with. By the way, right now I'm stuck with NL1 so that's all you'll be seeing but eventually I'll get a new PC and start using NL2 again.

Ok, so right now I'm working on this concept that's a B&M invert with a straight drop. I tried to go old-school with the forces and shaping, for example increasing the tension in my wing-overs in order to achieve the characteristic "snap" you get on coasters like Batman: The Ride. There is definitely some Alpengeist inspiration here as well as a little Montu inspiration. For this ride rather than focusing on inversions I focused on swinging the rider/train as unexpectedly and wildly as possible, adding a lot of banked turns and random overbanks through the layout. There's just a little tweaking left and I'll begin to support it. Onto the pictures!
Here's the first drop. I tried not to make it too drawn out but not too steep at the same time while retaining B&M's usual shaping
First element is an absolutely ENORMOUS batwing, going into a loop afterwards that's far larger than any loop on an invert while still having some forcefulness
Next is a Zero G Roll that provides some decent lats, then a forceful turnaround into the MCBR
This is what I was talking about when I mentioned swinging the riders around overbanks and turns.
Another Wing-Over over the turnaround, followed by 2 banked turns into the brake run
All that's left is some shaping adjustments, as the layout is final. Feedback would be appreciated and I have much more to display!
