I don't think it's possible to pick which ride is better. In the end it comes down to personal preference.

TC provides airtime galore and an amazing dueling aspect with the two drops.
WC provides airtime along with insane laterals.

Alan Schilke himself said these two rides are so different and serve such different purposes, that it's difficult to compare them. I agree. I will be riding Wicked Cyclone tomorrow and will be expecting a much different ride than when I rode TC.

I don't get the obsession with which one is better honestly, except fanboys that want bragging rights. And to them I would say just go enjoy our awesome friggin coaster and act like an adult.

If anything, comparing WC to SFM Medusa makes more sense, and there is really nothing out there to compare TC to.

Mean Streak is better than Twisted Colossus and Wicked Twister.

Watching people's heads explode on Youtube trying to decide between TC and X2 made my day.

And the line for TC got up to 4 hours at one point. Yikes.

Exactly. Both Wicked Cyclone and Twisted Colossus look like amazing rides that everyone will love, and at the end of the day, isn't that all that really matters?

Anyone one else here besides me been on this ride yet? I'd love to chat about it.

I'll just say this. This is one of those rides that very quickly silenced it's early haters. Literally.

Sorry I didn't know where else to put this but Goliath's new lift was installed and it just opened today! I'm so happy that I can ride it now! Only 2 more weeks!

Goliath is already an iconic coaster at SFMM, so no one wants to see it going, I think! :(

The GP love it but a lot of entusiasts say that it is a waste of space.

I don't see how. Titan was one of my favorite coasters from either Six Flags in Texas. Goliath must be very comparable.

^A lot of people say that Goliath's drop is forceless, there's no airtime, no break from the sustained positives, and that the helix isn't as forceful anymore with the full-stop MCBR. I've heard Titan is slightly better because of that second helix

I enjoyed the ride when I rode it in my younger years. I'd agree it lacks airtime and the full stop MCBR gives an odd sensation on the "overbanks" but was still a fun ride!

Goliath is fun but heavily flawed. The GP absolutely loves it though.

^ I think you are saying that it's flawed because it pulls 4.5g's in that helix.
