While Intamin transitions are still pretty much the best looking things ever, I haven't seen anything yet to suggest this won't just be a longer, more compact family ride like Cheetah Hunt. I really hope we soon see something that puts it over that true "blitz" coaster threshold.

This just settled in with me, but I love love love that they're using the old Intamin style 3 track.

No one knows what the theme will be yet. We do see all of the rockwork but as of now it could just be that the park is building a world based around a story they created like they did with the world around Winjas.

It doesn't seem like it. The twisty bit has some heavy banking, so it seems that it'd be going through that bit pretty fast.

Plus it's multi-launch, even Cheetah Hunt's launches are forceful as hell, and although it's a family coaster it's definitely on my top 10, so this one will definitely be up there.

Cheetah Hunt is awesome and definitely on the upper end of the family coaster spectrum. But this just seems like it's going to be a lot better than CH and with some surprises. Its vibe is definitely different from Cheetah Hunt's, at least I think so.

Judging by the transitions, I'd say this isn't going to be in the "family coaster" category. They look pretty quick and heavily banked, but I'll reserve my final judgement until I see something that makes it a true Blitz like Maverick or iSpeed

Megalite from the same company, at first, seemed like a some intense family fun coaster, but it soon became an extreme thrill, even among thrill seekers! Positive g's of over 5, negative g's of -1.5! I learned that the layout didn't decide the true thrill.

I can't see this being a huge disappointment. I mean I understand how you guys see it - this has the potential to be incredibly intense. However there's more to a ride than the G's and we all know Phantasialand produce rides that are inventive and incredibly themed. The theming looks insane and looks like the track has an incredible interesting layout from what we've seen - plus the rumoured surprises. Look at Chiapas. That's a log flume I'd genuinely go out of my way to ride.

Just from the sheer compactness of the layout along with the multiple launches, I think it's a fair bet Taron will end up more intense than it's predecessor at BGT. Regardless, I want to go to there.

Knowing Phantasialand the full layout probably won't even be shown/visible in an official announcement.
