I had this feeling that the launch would be inclined. I mean, Dollywood doesn't have any flat land. Either way, the layout is cool. It will be an awesome ride, maybe some of the elements are repetitive. But I still want to ride it badly...

Also, okay yeah I get it parks should grab any records they can. As far as marketing, your promo looks good if it has as many "-est coaster in the ____" taglines. But this one is like genuinely bothering me lol.

"The worlds first launched wooden coaster.
Also, the fastest launched wooden coaster."

Would nobody, even general public (??), find this logic strange?
No f&$%ing s#!t it's the fastest launched wooden coaster. It's the only one. It's the everythingest everything launched wooden roller coaster. I'm done ranting

I think the large price tag isn't because o a price hike, but simply because this thing is massive. The kind of structure that first turn requires looks crazy. I think this could definitely rival boulder dash and voyage, especially in a few years once the foliage grows back in.
What are these for?

I just had a scary thought, scary because of how much I got used to the latter 2 coasters being the elite class; This and Wildfire might just replace The Beast and Boulder Dash as the best terrain coasters on the planet, and both are manufactured by RMC. RMC is taking over the world, with both steel and wood.

^Well there are times when you would rather ride a modern terrain coaster like this and there are times when you would rather ride a more classic one.

I think that quadruple down followed by that last massive drop (which looks like the ride's 2nd largest drop, just shorter than the main one! Love how such a massive drop is literally towards the end of the ride -- and unlike Full Throttle, it only starts braking once the drop completely levels out into a straight section!) easily makes this ride better than the Kolmarden Wildfire. I'm honestly not sure which ride I'm more excited to see running, even in a third-person perspective -- this or Taron!

It's not just the fastest wooden launched coaster, it's the fastest ANY wooden coaster! That's not a cheap record. It's 1 mph faster than Goliath.

I'll be riding it when it's open. I'm not far away from Dollywood.

I remember, back in the days of NoLimits 1, in 2008 for example. If you released a launched woodie back then, everyone was like "EEW SO UNREALISTIC LOLOLOL 1 STAR NUB".
Those people were just way ahead of their time!

They would even say "B&M Giga supports on the lift hill are unrealistic..." Funny. ;)

There may be some reasoning behind the fact that the first launched "woodie" is indeed an RMC with steel section track - whereas they didn't exist in 2008...
