I hope I can correct that without ruining anything.
I feel like lately I have an above average amount of smaller WIP projects going at the same time, with varying levels of fun factor. I am not having quite as much fun designing the above mentioned "Chimera" coaster (which is named FrankenCoaster) as I thought I would, but I'm not ready to officially cancel it, so it will be on hold for now. Now you see why I don't like having 1 thread per project anymore. I was gonna post in 'what are you doing in NL2 right now" but I felt like it was 'too many' screenshots for that.
Tempest (or Ragin' Tempest or Tempest Fury, just to keep up with Kentucky Kingdom's cohesiveness with names of new coasters) is a launched flying coaster I made up, to replace the Stella side of Twisted Twins and flies all around Storm Chaser. I am having way more fun with this than FrankenCoaster.
First launch, and the skybox was downloaded from some site (creative commons).
Banshee & Colossus inspiration.
Pretzel loop with a curved bottom, wrapping around Storm Chaser's lift.
It's anyone's guess which of these I finish next after that:
NL2 version of a fairly large GCI from NL1
(this one in fact).Polercoaster wrapping around the Eiffel Tower. I don't really feel like recreating Kings Island tho.
Ultraviolet, a NL2 version of a B&M hyper twister from NL1. Supports are just slapped on to kinda preview the overall look. Nowhere near final.
Wooden hypercoaster heavily based on
this. Probably going to have a different name since the removal of Son of Beast has kinda made ???(family member) of Beast??? irrelevant. Supports are placeholder. Thinking about calling it 'Caterwaul.'
