Everyone has a thread where they put their W.I.P coasters, so I decided I would make my own. I'm starting to be proud of my designs which is noice. Cool to see my progress, as i've gotten so much better thanks to the people here. Thread titles change based on the ratings I get.

In any case, right now i'm working on an RMC called Warrior! (keep in mind that i've sunken like 10 minutes into this so far!)

Warrior starts out with a pre-lift twisting section!

Then it moves on to a straight drop!

Right after the drop there's a spread out airtime hill!

Right after there's a high banked turnaround!

Where it drops down to a 0g roll!

Where I still haven't finished the rest of the coaster!

Yeah, in fact, most parts seem to be fixable!

Layout looks intense so far. If you can, learn how to use the light pattern editor to make some real RMC rails

The layout is finished!!!!! (Thanks to Blase Rhine for layout advice and tips and such!)
Here come the pics!

After the layout seen in the first post, the coaster goes into a funky off axis double up!

Then the coaster does two high speed turns that dive under the lift!

After which the coaster drops into a dark tunnel!

Where you rise out of the darkness into a 90 degree stall!

Where you go deep down into the depths again, but come out again into a high speed right turn where you take a banked dive into a ravine, quickly changing direction as you...

Turn rapidly into...

Thy death of upstop wheels, EJECTOR HILL! Diving once again into a tunnel, you come out into...

two overbanked turns!

Then you rise into another airtime-lateral filled turnaround into...

The brakes!

The only thing left for Atlantis until I put it up onto the exchange is theming. Since I suck really hard at sketchup, if anyone can supply switchback gates (as in a queue) and some sort of ancient greek style buildings for the coaster to go through, that would be amazing!

You can make the wooden beams all the same thickness, or use steel beams like the real RMCs do.

^ My barrel roll is now jet fuel proof.

If you're going to have slanted "vertical" wooden beams make them straight at least. Are you using the azimuth option under rotation mode?

Definitely different!

It's coming along nicely, but I really feel like I haven't put enough effort into it. Steel coasters feel almost too easy, but at the same time I think it's me pretending to myself that it was easy and I might end up releasing it when it isn't actually good enough. Maybe I should spend some hours trying to learn sketch up and making some scenery and i'll feel like I put enough work into it, or maybe I should spend some hours and find some flaws in the shaping and trackwork. Why not both? ??\_(???)_/??

Bullet is shelved for now because the pacing throughout the ride was really slow. Might come back to it, but not right now.
