zan : i'm gooing to trie that 1 when i get home from work...tanx
g force : i do'nt see what is the fus about building a coaster backwords... on rct i do it al the time...
and in my eyes the speed of the train is not realy a problem , cos you just brake harder , or use 2 sets of brakes... + you can have as a rule that a train can go lets say for ex. 50km/h befor braking.. if this is bigger you can slow the train down by maglev braking along the ride taking ex. 1km/h of eavery od section so as a rider you do'nt feel it slowing up that fast ea not spoiling the ride...
sowwie but i'm not a fan of your building methode , it is nor creative and it limit's ones creativety sowwie..
gouldy : i do what you do , i make a trackplan , but by bit , i couler it in and make it a flat 3D , so i draw loops etc.... the thing is a coaster can also take 3 week or longer to think up on... so you gater lots of peaces of paper ful of idea's.... and what i want to do is make those bits in NL , like i did in rct , and than when you see it in 3d you can get a better feeling and close the gaps , and you wil get more inpiration....
you can also test an idea an see that it wil not work as you wanted it to , or it wil work...
and now you have to make it and when it fails , you have to start again , and this is not productive and in my eyes extreemly frustrating...
i've sent a mail to the nl man about this , i hope they can do something about it in a upgrade or something...
hihih in your case i hope so ... in my case lets hope the bos is not to mad about it... think not , lots of peeps here at my word know that i'm a coaster fryke and thay i do this , and many think it is good for my reativety and they just look in aha...
an that is from other cad designers , cos that's what i do for a living....
so far thanx for the help , if you peeps know more stuf i'd love to here it
