Comments without rating . . .

Is there a possibility to put a comment on a coaster in the replies without rating it. Sometimes I have some comments for the maker of the coaster, but really don't want to rate it. I would like to get that possibility because sometimes giving a rating to a coaster is hard. In this way the maker can also react on ratings that are made in the replies . . .

no, sorry, if yuou can comment on the coaster then you can value your comments against the coaster and tell them how much the comments are worth to the coaster. For example if I say this coaster needs work here and there but don't value the ride, then I don't klnow if I did really bad or really good, now if I say what posted above and give it a 3 then I know I really need a lot of work, if I give it a 7 then I did ok but can improve a bit to get better scoring.

Well, I think you're right with the rating thing, but when a builder choose for something and the rating is worse because someone doesn't understand that it would be great if the builder could quote that reply and explain his choice.

I prefer they do it through private messages or the forum, that way we avoid fights or so in the ratings themselves and we don't have other potential raters get angry and rate higher or lower based on their views on the replies and such.

I think it would be a good idea to make it like www.coasters2k.com , because you have to rate, but then you can comment afterwards.

yes when i am always at Coastrs2k, it always seems when you upload a coaster, there is a fight.

This is why I like this way better

The RCT2 section is crazy there, there are tons of fights and stuff, but the NL section has way more mature members so there aren't very many fights.

Well, what do you think will happen to the RCT2 coasters over here?

I agree with you on that. I did a TTD and there was a minor arguement. Both IntaminFan and I uploaded Taser and there was a HUGE fight. After a weeks battle, a 'mod' person stepped in and said I will be watched under the staff because of "being part of the fight" That's why I like it here...I haven't seen one fight here yet.

I only have 2 'violence free' coasters there which were both of my V2's

the rct2 section at coasters2k has calmed down. with the likes of me, rctandy,$kittlz, scootacious ,~ShOcKwAvE~, HornHead889.8, Greengoat, et33 and others posting good quality stuff, if ive forgotten your names sorry. Yes there have been some imature users but if they arise they are dealt with accordingly.

The reason I post more on coasters2k.com is because I get alot more comments there. I used to post on cbuzz as well until it turned into a pay site. I do get some comments on my coasters here but at most only about 3 comments max.

How about trying to bring some of the good people there to here to get it active here as well? It can benefit you and everyone else who posts rct2 tracks here [:)]

yeah we should do that wws. Someone like DE@NO or RCTandy should do it because they are well know at that site. They should get guys like ET33, $kittlz, HornHead889.8, and Greengoat because they are all great designers and well behaved. Take it from me because I used to post their.[;)]
