Again, digging up old topics.

Why is it that it's bad to dig up old topics but also bad to talk about something that already has an old topic? It makes no sense.

My favorite park I've been to so far is Cedar Point. So many great roller coasters (five of which are in my top 10), nice selection of flat rides, wonderful location, and a good park environment.

Same here. Beautiful skyline, big but not 'too big', not too confusing either, really awesome breather rides (Adventure Express is probably my favorite family coaster), and I recently found out that riding White Water Rapids at night is really cool, like 'Beast at night' cool but without much of the wait. Tho I dislike the lack of bins in the station, Banshee served as a much needed end to my inverting B&M drought.

Levi is bae.

SGAdv is aite. I mean it's got a good lineup but other than that it has horrible operations and a bad atmosphere.

The Past: When I got to love coasters I first went for Cedar Point. The Present: I still love Cedar Point for the fact that Millennium Force is still on a par with today's gut-wrenching tracks. You can see like MF is still quoted as an "Extreme" Thrill Factor Comparison!

Yeah that's basically my opinion of the park. The atmosphere/theming is pretty damn good though in the Golden Kingdom and Plaza Del Carnival (KK and El Toro). Just when Premier Parks started to do things right they got replaced

But if you look at the modern wooden coasters there isn't anything that comes even par with the sheer awesomeness of wooden coasters from the 80 and 90's.

^ 1. El toro
2. Balder
3. Colossus
4. T Express
(Yes, I know these are all prefabs)
5. Outlaw Run

Wildfire and Lightning Rod look to be incredible as well

Honestly you're kinda right for the most part but the companies that know how to do it right can easily make a world class wooden coaster that can outdo some previous designs

1) Cedar Point- Best coaster collection, good ops, good atmosphere, well maintained.
2) Hershey- Honestly I've always but them as the second best coaster lineup, plus overall the park was clean and nice. (Went before SkyRush was there too)
3) SFGAdv- Missed out on KK and GL, Really good line up right up with Hershey(Best of all SF), horrid ops, bad staff, general sixflags poop drops it down to third.
4) Kennywood- Love this park, historic, well maintained, really no bad rides.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

And the entire list what you're summing up are prefabs and the RMC "woodies". So my point is still valid. I'm really missing some of that good ol' woody action that the current GG's just can't top. Someone, bring CCI back from the dead...

^Well they technically are "wooden" if we're going to be detailed ;) . But yeah, I agree that there has been a lack of world class traditional wooden coasters recently (besides maybe The Voyage from what I've heard)
