^^So the "Serpent Shuttle" coaster style from RCT3 is real! That is insane  . I don't really see how this is any improvement though as stated above. Cool, but rather pointless

So basically they want to fire half of their carpenters and stop pretending they make wooden coasters.

New video explaining the single track rail coaster. Pretty interesting!

Also, The track is cut from steel sheets and it is hallow, so it doesn't weigh more than the two steel tracks RMC currently uses.

I saw that video earlier today and apparently the advantages include less bolting, simpler assembly, and greater structural strength and a greater track span between supports. I mean, the supports are ridiculously far apart for an RMC in the pictures, we're used to seeing their track with wooden-style lattice supports

Watch the video again... They confirm this is track for an all steel coaster. NOT a hybrid.

^correct. Again, it's just a concept to see if they could do it. Though they have clients looking at this, that's no confirmation that it will ever become a reality. We could end up seeing it, but we could just as likely not.

But where would they be? The other companies use 2 rails so they can run in between.

^The lift and brakes dont have to be on the same plane. Look at any steel find.

Also consider the fact that it is hollow, a few holes in the track where needed and anything could be installed into place
What are these for?
