the turn radii and quick banking changes on this coaster would make that literally impossible

I was thinking something similar cool5... but the radius of first couple turns look like the require the timberliners

^^ I've felt the same thing so far in NL. When I run a train (for example) in a too tight turn, the wheel part obviously touches the car. "Turn Radius" kind of bugs me on. The reason why I love Wooden Trailered 2 seat - it's even awesome for tight bends!

;)

What was the point of opening the coaster in October, typically near the end of the operating season? Unless they have a year-round schedule it doesn't make sense to me.
It's been a long time

I also love the wild mouse-like sharp bends before the main show (drop)! Great surprise to me! :D

I feel like the only reason the animation had banking on the spike was because they couldn't figure out vertical banking in No Limits.

We got a private tour of ZDT's on Sunday and the pics and video are very misleading. This is a far more interesting ride in person. I'll be posting a write up as soon as I get some time. Just arrived home back in California :p

^Glad you had a great time in Texas, and next time you tell me to pick you up from the airport, tell me a couple days in advance if possible so that way I can get down there in time

Yeah this wasn't planned at all or else I would have let you know ahead of time. This was an emergency fly out and well, was able to squeeze in a park visit.

Gothcha. I would have come and picked you up, but I could not due to the fact pf what day it was and how long it would have taken me to get down there, roughly between 10 and 11 hours each way

I feel like the overbank was forced way too much

Here's a couple of pictures I took on Sunday of Switchback at ZDT'S Amusement Park. 8th picture down you can see how tight Switchback was fitted into the area. It is inches away from the buildings support and ground. Really great design :) We'll be there October 14th for media day so expect more pics, maybe video then. The one chance I would make to this is a couple of booster wheels on the spike. The return run, especially the 2nd half is noticeably lacking in pep.

Such a bizarre looking little ride. I do gree that the overbank seems a tad "forced as well", it could have been a 90 degree turn but w/e still looks like a great ride.
