The second season of the return of Kentucky Kingdom was a successful one, the park has reported. The amusement and water park spent an addition $15 million on park improvements in 2015, building a handful of new rides ranging from mild to wild - including the reopening of T3, a Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster.

Kentucky Kingdom isn't saying what the final attendance in 2015 was, but is confirming that it was a larger number than was seen in 2014. One additional figure that they released was that non-season pass holder attendance was up 40% this season, in large part due to a wider advertising area.

?? Kentucky Kingdom
Work is currently moving quickly on Kentucky Kingdom's new for 2016 attraction, the Rocky Mountain conversion of part of Twisted Twins. The former two track coaster will now be one, and workers have been removing the wooden track and modifying the supports to hold the new steel rails.

Most recently, the park started to place those steel rails on the lift hill, lifting the top piece last week. A photo of that can been seen above, and more at this Facebook link.

When completed, Storm Chaser will boast a 100 foot lift hill, an inverting first drop, two additional inversions, and 2,744 feet of track. With a typically wild Rocky Mountain layout (designed by Alan Schilke), Storm Chaser is high on many new for 2016 anticipated coaster lists.

The title seems a bit redundant doesn't it?

Just don't employ stupid people and you're golden.

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.
