Coasterforce recently took a construction tour of the site - the track colour on Raptor looks fantastic even set against the dull grey British weather!

I bet this Boulder Dash will be even better than the original.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Yep - less helix and an added airtime hill - spike goes in the opposite direction.

This park is basically for family fun, but for us, too. Looking back to when I used to play RCT3 every single day, I had so wanted to create such a fancy park.

Well between all of these rides and the Gerstlauer they've pretty much aced that department.

Slightly behind update - testing of Raptor (with a small preview) plus the theming coming along well!

Source for all following material: https://paultonspark.co.uk/lost-kingdom ... ember-2015

18/11/2015

With the weather still being pretty much on our side, Lost Kingdom progress speeds along and here are some more exclusive photographs to show you this month.

One of the main entrances is now complete where guests will walk through a long archway into the Lost Kingdom.

Image

Last month, the Flight of the Pterosaur completed testing and Raptor - the Boomerang coaster - is now undergoing the final stage of installation prior to its testing being started.

Image

Here is quick view of some on board video footage of the ride:

Raptor will take riders on a 200m journey through sweeping tight bends at speeds of up to 40mph.

Construction work continues around the whole of Lost Kingdom. Theming around The Dinosaur Tour Co. ride continues.

A large waterfall and ponds have been created as part of the journey.

This place and the section Djur's Summerland built are frigging excellent family sections. Much better than the Six Flags "throw a bunch of tiny flats in a corner" strategy.

^ Like the big difference between "willing to produce real fun for all generations" and "have to place at least a few wacky rides for kids".
