I'll take Wooden Coaster - Fireball @ Happy Valley Songjiang!

Image

If mrcrolly takes Fireball, I'll take Jungle Trailblazer @ Fantawild Dreamland Zhengzhou instead. (Not to be confused with the other Jungle Trailblazers, this is the one with the Side Kick element and so far the only operating Jungle Traiblazer with a custom design but without a corkscrew.)

Quick question. If you choose a dueling coaster must you sit out a turn?

Goliath at six flags magic mountain!

I meant to pick my last turn, but I guess when I posted it must've not gone through.

The rules state that picking a dueling / racing coaster will consume two turns, so someone who picks a dueling / racing coaster on, say, Turn 7 will have to skip Turn 8.

hyyyper wrote:
Picking coasters
Dueling/Racing coasters cannot be picked separately, they come as a package. If you pick 2 (sets of ) dueling/racing coasters, you lose 1 slot. This means you have to skip one of your upcoming turns.

At least, that's what I'm getting from the rules written. Can hyyyper or anyone else moderating the Coasterdraft confirm?

I believe it's after your second set of dueling coasters.
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix 2. Nemesis 3. Big Bad Wolf 4. Boulder Dash 5. Balder

Turbo is correct. Only after your second set of dueling or racing coasters will you have to skip a turn.

Based on the time, it looks like we've lost TTD03. That would mean my group (rcdude, jdmi012, titanrocks01, skyscraper) is up. This time, I'll take a launched coaster...

Superman Escape (Warner Bros. Movie World): http://rcdb.com/2999.htm
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash
Top 5 Steel: Superman the Ride, Fury 325, Millennium Force, X2, Intimidator 305

I was hoping that would stay off the radar...

It would have been (at least for me) had it not been an alternate in the previous round. After looking up reviews and watching a POV, I decided to go with it instead of my original pick for a launch coaster (Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm) as Superman Escape seems to be a more complete ride despite being a bit smaller.

This draft is going 100% according to plan. Since I still need a family coaster, I'll take...
