I got way too busy to devote much time to this, sad because it was a great idea for a contest.
What are these for?

Just a quick question but are hedges around the path allowed as i think they look a bit ugly without them. Example shown below.

Another thing quickly does this count as the track being outside the template.

Fantastic! Be sure to refer back to the front page on how to name and upload the track to the exchange.

EDIT: Here is how you should name the track file.

May I suggest a change in the filename structure.

How about October2015Quarterly- Trackname

Having it labelled by year will make it easier to do this next year.

Yeah that is fine. It would make it very much easier to understand. Thanks for the suggestion! Changing it now!

Since I am the only one of the three of us that is in CT, I will be paying attention to the upload time of the tracks that are entered into the contest. Also, if you are having problems with the upload, PM either one us (preferably Blase or Meta as I do not have the mod operations) to let us know the situation at hand.

Just a message to the judges revision 2 is the one with the boundaries (still using the template) and revision 1 is the standard mode one without the template. Just thought i would tell you. :D

You might want to adjust your ride's trims. They seem to cause valleying.

What are trims?

To answer your question, Trim brakes are sections of brakes which are intended to adjust a train's speed during its course rather than bring the train to a complete stop. They may be engineered into a ride at its design stages at certain anticipated troubled spots, or later retrofitted once it is discovered that trains traverse certain areas at higher-than-anticipated speeds. Trim brakes are often either added for safety reasons, to lower g-forces in certain areas, or for maintenance/mechanical reasons, to lower the cost of wear-and-tear damage (especially on wooden roller coasters) caused by the trains traveling at faster than normal speeds. Usually, a proximity sensor precedes the trim brake in order to identify the current speed of the passing train. From this, the trim will then grab the train's brake fins to reduce the train's speed to that set by the control system.

Ok I will leave the coaster as it is as it fully stops the coaster in an e-stop. Just as another question what is 'valleying' :D
