... canobie lake NEEDS a new coaster almost desperatly. it's been WAY too long without one. lol, they can put it in the picnic area and have the entrance over by the crappy psycho drome...(what is a drome?)
Definition of Drome - large specially prepared place.
For example an Air Plan hanger might be called an aerodrome
Anyways not long after your post they added a coaster finally after 30 years and the removal of that coaster(Galaxy). close on the location it was added in the ball field not toe picnic grounds.

There is a FAT CHANCE, That canobie lake will be getting a new coaster in the near future. the built StarBlaster, a S&S Tower, that doesn't go much higher than the trees. Salem NH, has noise ristrictions, but not hight. i am friends with the owner and i have put the bug in his ear every year about the new latest and gratest coaster, that he would have room to build in his park. At 1 point i thought an giant inverted boomarang would be awesome. it is nothing to jump around about, but tell me where there is 1 any wehre near the east coast!
anyway FAT CHANCE canobie lake will get any type of coaster other than a kiddie better than the dumb Dragon!
Boy did Canobie prove you wrong on all counts. They not only added a coaster but added a thrill coaster not a kiddie coaster. A Eurofighter 360. It's under 80ft and includes 3 inversions. The supports are filled with Sand to cu down on the noise.
My List- Canobie Lake Park - It's been 6 years since they added untamed. There is a bigger demand on the park and they need high capacity additions that will not only appease guest but take more pressure of Yankee cannonball. untamed was a good start but they could use at least one or 2 more coasters.
- Funtown Splashtown USA (Saco ME) - The parks last coaster, A Wild mouse, replaced their Galaxy. Not exactly an upgrade. They haven't actually added a new coaster that upped their count since Excalibur in 98. A new coaster would really give the park a boost and it doesn't need to be a big one anything outside of a kiddie coaster woudl be a plus.
- Santa's Village - I know they have less money then other area parks but Story land Just added Roar-o-saurous. A second coaster woudl help them compete. Just so happens that a park right down the street has their large Miller kiddie coaster up for sale. not a major coaster but an easy addition they could move it themselves.
- The Great Escape - Their last coaster was a kiddie Zamperla coaster before that was a hacked up used mine train. i understand they are trying to keep the parks attendance levels at a reasonable level to avoid high coast improvements to local roads but they are in great need of a complimenting star coaster.
