Looks pretty intense - maybe we'll see B&M start stepping it up for thier future coasters!

This looks promising! Too bad it's WAY in Japan  lol Judging by what we can see, I think B&M and Universal Studios did a fantastic job showcasing the whole "Pterodactyls flying over your head" scene... VERY Jurassic World-esqe (those of you that have seen the movie will know the scene I'm talking about)

Hmmm... They choose the easy way of doing a lie to fly. Hopefully there will be one more area with a lie-down section. ^^

Well there are space restrictions in that area so it's not like they could've done much more.

This might end up the second best flyer behind Tatsu.

I think that Starry Sky Scraper beat out Tatsu and to be honest besides the awesome pretzel loop, Tatsu doesn't really have much going for it.

I'm 1000% sure Sky Scrapper beats the hell out of Tatsu. The ride is a lot better and a lot more forceful. The only decent part from Tatsu was the pretzel and the 270?? turn with view over the park.

Yeah Tatsu doesn't have that much going for it, only by far the largest pretzel loop on any flyer, the smartest sequence of elements on any flyer, that allows for that pretzel loop to be at the end of the layout rather than the generic beginning, the tallest height from lift crest to ground on a flyer, the largest corkscrew on a flyer (or probably any B&M for that matter), the ONLY corkscrew zero-g hybrid on any B&M, a perfect double hammerhead/overbank turn combination, and a terrain setting unparalleled by most roller coasters of any kind.

Yeah Tatsu doesn't really have that much going for it. Only that every single moment of the ride is purposeful and superior and made for a flying experience. Starry Sky Raper has a great roll-to-loop combo, but it also has a straight drop and a lame double corkscrew finale lol.

I've ridden Tatsu and as Dirk said the only interesting parts are the pretzel and final turn. It's pretty meh all around and the rolls are so drawn out that you don't feel a thing. The location is pretty good and the drop itself is a bit underwhelming. I also hate the location on the hill as it's a pain in the ass to walk up and down it and the only thing the orient express is good for is getting you to Ninja.

Moving on it seems as if there will be a pretzel loop over the entrance gate to the JP area.

Agree with every word of this. I've always said that Tatsu is the most underrated B&M in the country. The height and view of that first drop is sensational and it's series of acrobatic inversions that high in the air are amazing. The Pretzel loop ends up stealing the show at the end, but it's very unfair to say the rest of the ride is pointless.

By the way, this ride looks terrific and perhaps the best looking flyer thus far. But I HATE straight drops on flyers. They look thrilling , but you end up looking down at one spot rather than a high view of the surroundings as you drop.

Wait why is everybody calling it Starry Sky Scraper? Isn't it called Starry Sky Ripper or am I missing something?

Dirk is literally the only person's opinion I'll actually trust for rides aside from a couple people I used to work with lol.

America/10 rating.

I hope they do end up with a pretzel loop there, and that it has the odd supports the whole ride has so far.
