Well, I guess its about that time to announce my next big project! I have been working on this invert for about a month now and after tons of revisions I am currently happy with the layout. The name of the coaster is Horus. As for a back story, Horus was the first known national god, specifically related to the king who in time came to be regarded as a manifestation of Horus in life and Osiris in death.

Much of the inspiration came from Banshee, Osiris, and Katun. The ride begins with a turn out of the station following a 155 foot lift hill. As you reach the top of the lift you will be able to see the plaza of the ride before plunging downwards directly into a trench and up into a dive loop that goes over the lift hill. Coming out of the dive loop you then dive into another trench before heading upwards into a vertical loop and then enter directly into a immelmann. Afterwards heading over the station you reach a zero g roll before being thrown into a helix up to the mid course. You then begin diving downwards in yet another trench before going into another vertical loop. Coming out of the loop you are thrown helplessly into a serious of twists and corkscrews before your train slows to safety and back to the station.

This project is expected to a take a while and feature a number of scenery objects as well as custom scripts and skyboxes.

Keep in mind that the black box on the track is for scenery. It is not a "T-rex" track style invert.

I like how this ride approaches the tall gate! The mixture of Batman intensity and Montu elements. :)

Update time!

Well a ton more has been going on scenery and support wise. The models are modeled after Osiris and Montu's station/surrounding scenery.

Thank you all for the kind words!

Right now I am not looking for testers but once this nears completion I will give out a Beta for several of you to test.

As for the ride portion not much has been going on except for testing out environments and peep the correct loop connectors! ;)

That last screenshot just looks like it's a normal photo of a real life coaster! I like it a lot so far!

On that last photo maybe keep the track in the I-beam configuration for the whole turn instead of having 5ft of normal track between the kicker wheels and the station (assuming those are the device present in that area). It'll look more realistic. Otherwise it looks damned good so far and I love your loop connectors.

What do you use to get the scenery for the queues?

Yeah I am planning on changing that. :) Should be included in the next updated

Several modeling programs. I currently use Sketchup as my go to. But I can work in Blender and Maya as well. However Blender and Maya are self taught and require a bit more understanding than Sketchup does.

Another update!

As progress continues at a rapid rate, I have hit some minor roadblocks. I have been working on the queue and sadly lost the file. I am in the process of looking for it but if I can't find it I will have to start over for the queue area. This does not include the station and entrance. That is a separate model.

Meanwhile, I have been super busy with adding effects such as volume fog, a rock (tomb) tunnel, lights, etc.

While this project is coming together nicely, don't expect a release anytime soon.

Here are some pictures:

First look inside the station, Much detail needs to be added along with some texture fixes

And a few beauty pictures to end it featuring a new environment!

Do the screenshots seem slightly blurred to anyone else? like not quite clear. Does look good - interesting you went for an A-frame through the grave though - couldn't you just have a frame that is hidden within the rock scenery? I think that might add to the immersion through that element.

They are probably blurred because I took them with gyazo. Not the actual screenshot key in NL2. As for the grave what exactly do you mean?

Not only is this creation spectacular, but the "emerald mist" effect inside the tunnel catches my heart! :)
