That looks pointier than a 2D animated Disney villain with anime hair. Also kinda reminds me of Toothless.

MAURER coaster launch video at IAAPA

CAVU is the new guy at this year IAAPA! CAVU is a newer company but with experienced people, and they made media-based attractions.

On their website they have nice descriptions, images, videos... and what they call Details for Designers, with some cool nerdy facts, and 3D models of their rides! (in .dwf, .skp and even .max)

Here are some images of what they want to bring to the industry!

Dissapointent!! I was hoping for a new train design to bring them back up to modern standards. Not that sad sack zero car on old trains.

Not quite old trains! the cars themselves are redesigned too! Check it: the cars are all single rows; modified, yes, old, no...though old relative to other companies....about time they made a trailered train

A video that shows a better look at the RMC "Raptor" track. Trains designed by Coaster-Lab!

Cool, seatbelts on the Maurer train. That should make it interesting.

This is a great year so far. Dayumn. I'm especially interested in the Intamin Poler Coaster concept and the T-Rex concept looks sweet. That stall is like 270 degrees lol. Lots of awesome 3D/Interactive concepts too!

I'm enjoying the Immersive media technology this year. It is looking so much better than whats already out there. On the TRex Track, I would have to see an actual coaster before I can form a real opinion on it, its a neat concept but it looks like a twisting monorail imo. Does anyone know if those PTC trains are for a specific park? I've heard rumors of Dorney getting new trains for Thunderhawk, and that zero car is a bird....
What are these for?

RMC are definitely shaking things up in both the wooden and steel worlds. Perhaps this is why B&M are arguably being more inventive than they have in the recent past.

I think B&M wants customers. All of their rides don't break (name a scrapped B&M), and quite frankly all the parks that can afford one already have one lol.

According to the In The Loop video, US Thrill Rides confirmed the construction of 3 polarcoasters around the United States! They have stated that construction will begin next month/first of the year!

They change the concept every year, still not believable at all.

Ummm.... RMC? they change small things all the time. Also, this ride was announced very early in the planning stages there were always going to be layout changes.

^ Well, what about Intamin? They have faced a clearance (reach envelope) problem before at the top of a tower during the "Kingda Ka" construction.

If i'm not mistaken, it sounds like what is in that video is not the layout for the ride in orlando. That's more of a generic layout for the polar coaster concept.

^^^^^^ Hulk is a scrapped B&M. Did anyone find anything while at IAPPA on hulk? I am just currious as I was shocked they are doing a almost full track replacement .

^ Its one of the most cycled rides operating because of Florida's year round season, and more tourists than your average park, its not that surprising that most of it has to be replaced.
What are these for?

B&Ms are so good that there is no scrapped B&M. B&Ms have been salvaged from the following:

1. Electrified post-hurricane cesspools
2. Bankruptcy
3. "Getting old" (Hulk and to a lesser degree Mantis).

Aside from that I'm glad Intamin is more so on board than in the past on this project since they're still the "pushing the limits" company.

Agreed B&M is probably the best company in the industry and my personal favorite . I am just currious what will happen with Hulk . Does anyone know if the accelerator tube still has It's track ? I would assume so since th supports are still up and tunnel remains. I was just wondering . I was hoping for some B&M news from iaapa.
