A decree of martial law has been issued in France which leaves the options to local authorities on whether they shut down all public venues or not. If they open to shut down, then this would the 2nd time Disneyland Paris would be closed due to such actions.

Not much more info here, but just saying, it could happen!

I think Disneyland closing is the least of their worries right now.

This thread seems a bit insensitive don't you think? It kinda gives off the impression that all we care about is the park...

Its not insensitive, just stating facts. It's not like we're saying disregard the people that died today, just stating that because of the martial law in effect, public venues like Disneyland Paris are subject to be closed.

I am certainly remembering France after the awful attacks yesterday. Stay strong France.

I thought there was a black part of the France flag but I looked it up and there was not.

^ I found out that all of my French friends were safe, but I feel for those who got killed in a terrorism. I believe that your creation of this and your "Stay strong, France." will heal some French CC members.

Nope. The only time Disneyland Paris was closed, was due a hurricane in 1999. Which caused the park to close for only one day. For the rest the park has kept it's doors open since it's opening in 1992. During the previous threat, the park increased it's security up to having armed military walking around in the park. So having it's doors closed for 4 days is pretty unique.

That attack had me think of checking out "Parc Asterix" website and I really did it. They were luckily in an off-season with the message to future guests "See you in 2016!"
