Alton Towers has unleashed new plans for 2016 which include the UK???s first Rollercoaster Restaurant.
The unusual ride, scheduled to open in May 2016, is a restaurant set below a vast rollercoaster track where diners can watch as their order come to them.
The food will tackle two gravity defying loop-the-loops before dropping 8m/26ft ??? the equivalent of two double decker buses - down the tornado spiral to their table.
From a standing start, each dish will compete to its final destination, racing along 400m of spiralling steel track ??? the equivalent of a full-size athletics track ??? and travelling faster than Mo Farah when he won Gold at the Olympics.

A first for the Resort , the new Rollercoaster Restaurant will also offer a premium evening menu, exclusively for guests staying at the on-site hotels and in the local area as part of a short break.
Offering a novel twist on family dining, the Rollercoaster Restaurant will be the ideal dining experience for those staying over.
