Well all the updates the Dev Team have given us have been absolutely great, one thing I wish they'd would do is give us an almost RCT like way to recolor in-game objects such as the newly added buildings, food stalls and the in-game flat rides.

yeah, because if someone did a themed area, the flat rides would look out of place. a re-coloring tool would be a clever idea!

I noticed on the website for NoLimits 2 there is no way to report issues. Not even on the Support tab. That's odd.. LOL Is there a place (here maybe???) where you can post issues with the software OR what I want to post...some suggestions to make it better. My ideas may not be original but then again, maybe they will be. I have done beta testing for several software companies (Atari, EA, LucasArts, Blizzard, Capcom, etc..) and find that 1000 people can think the same thing would be a great feature or modification to make something easier, better, whatever...but only 1 person may actually report it...

Anyways, was just curious as to how to get suggestions to the people that actually do the work. :)

Thanks

Greg

We tend to use this topic: the-one-and-only-nolimits-2-topic-t16968-2500.html

Recolouring should be possible through the NLMAT editor. Will have a proper look when I get chance!

Did anyone else notice the new, rather restrained limit (IMO) for building below sea level? I don't understand why that had to be put in, personally. It also has made it difficult to center a left or right view of things.

Any way to change it?

I wonder if they've seen me ask about selecting a starting point for the track view instead of cycling through the whole track to get to a point.

If it's a way to do that, could somebody explain? Thanks.

I just noticed they got rid of the 'fix ambient materials from SketchUp' box in the NL2SCO editor, and yet when I go into parks that were made way before the latest update and refresh or add duplicates of objects imported from SketchUp, the faces still don't appear all dark. So I guess that's been obsoleted?

I downloaded a track that said it was saved with 2.2.4.2. I'm lazy and still haven't switched over to Steam. Is this a Steam version or is there another (multiple?) updates past 2.2.3.9? That's where I'm at and the auto-updater says none available, nor is there anything more on the site.

It's a beta update that you can only open using the Steam version until the full version of the update is released.

There was a 81mb NL2 update yesterday that I got. It was not a workshop update. Is this the public version of the 2.2.4.2 beta update?

Version 2.2.4
  • Added 3 more entity colors

  • Added Improve Alpha Tested Mipmaps option to NL2MAT Editor (Texture setup)

A lot of these material editor updates go over my head.

the newest version, 2.2.4.2, has been officially released (it was originally just on steam to start with, but is now available to everyone).
