Rollercoaster Formu??a 1 - 2016
In 2016 one of the fastest roller coasters in Europe will be recreated. Formula 1 is a challenge for the most courageous. The extremely long track, the speed reaching 100 km/h and the uncountable loops and slopes will make it one of the most exciting rides in your life! The most similar roller coaster called the Blue Fire is located at Europa Park.

The park also opened this new SLC this year and it uses the lapbar and vest trains!

The park also opened a Vekoma rollerskater and a Vekoma SFC (Same layout as Orkanen) this year as well!

I wonder what the G's will be in that turn after the immelman. Looks like a neat ride to me.

Judging by the POV of the SLC, it was hauling ass and appeared to be pretty smooth compared to its other (much older) counterparts! I have to ask though, has anyone else wondered why they used the old gen track instead of the new gen track like they did for BSG?

and the uncountable loops

So they're saying just 1 is uncountable? I hope they're not implying that Polish people are stupid.

There are 3 inversions an immelman, zero-g roll, and a corkscrew.

A.J. on TPR had a really good explanation for this:

the standard suspended looping coaster layout is designed around the centerline of the old-style trains, so they can't just run the exact same layout with the new track (unless by some circumstances the centerlines are the same), they'd have to re-engineer it and the supports needed to hold it up. Since they're still consistently getting orders for suspended looping coasters and boomerangs as they are, there's no need to re-engineer them because the parks are completely fine with what they're getting. They can re-engineer the trains instead, saving resources, time and money.

Because they haven't gotten an order for a custom looping coaster since 1999 (Rock n' Roller Coaster and Xpress don't count) or a custom SLC since 2002 (both at Fantasy Island in the UK), they probably were able to carefully use the time and resources to design the brand-new track, support structure and trains for Battlestar (made from one of each) and the new suspended family coasters. Have you noticed that Battlestar and Vekoma coasters from the late 80s / 90s look like they were made by completely different manufacturers?

Short answer: If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

This looks like it will be a great addition to this park. A new-gen Vekoma is a good Vekoma!

It looks like it starts out as a loop and then banks into the turn. It's similar to what Cannibal does.

Reminds me of X-Car shaping (I'm thinking Formula-X). I imagine it'll crawl through that first inversion to make the G's bearable (give it looks to scale). The sideways airtime hill looks pretty fun too.

This is sweet. There are going to be insane positive and negative forces in the first few elements.
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

^much better. I was scared that the trains might actually look like the first pic but it looks way nicer in the second one

Jokes aside the trains look really nice (on a Vekoma?) and the restraints remind me of the Intamin Skyrush restraints a little. I hope it's more comfortable than that

I've just come to feel so much love for Vekoma! Proving that they seriously like Mack train style, too! :D

I think it's just the angle, but it looks like its 3 cars of 2 rows each.

Ah yeah on second thoughts I think you're right - only using one bogie per car.

The park also announced that they will be building a GCI.

"Just back from Sweden, full of new ideas and concepts for Energylandia. In this photo one of the attractions that is scheduled for installation in our park."

Is it just me or is there a bump in the trackwork between 0:33 and 0:35? That part doesn't look that smooth to me.

The track was fanmade by DerMuffinMaker on NLE, but the park decided to use his video in their promo without asking him

^^ Don't worry. That coaster IRL will come out of that problem. :)
