Six Flags New England 2016- Fireball and Superman: The Ride

I am so excited to have superman returning. the red and blue colors are much more prominent then the Purple. You could barely see the coaster form Springfield after it became bizarro.

Fireball is not surprising at all. but it's not a coaster. The park needs flat so it's a good area and it will be nice to have an attraction in Rockville again. Unfortunately the park is still short on flats and the family rides they have added are considered Kiddie rides and you can't ride unless you have a child Under 48 in with you.

Construction has begun on Fireball as well!

Do we have any firm info on whether onboard audio is still a thing for Supes? Would be nice for original capacity to be restored as well.

Last I heard was that music would play on the lift and brake run but no one really knows what's going on with the trains yet.

The weather in this area has been great. unseasonably warm and dry. I'm sure it's healing a lot.

All the purple is now gone and it looks like they are pretty close to done to adding the new coat of red paint to the track as well. Looks ten times better with the red than it did with the purple!

You say that like there isn't life in that section. Rockville is the only way to get to south end and contains many food stands and games. The area is always busy. Even with Twister down the area in front o it was a popular place to hang out.

For em it will be nice tp have another thrill ride to hold a few guests and keep then out of the way from other rides.

Oh I know that it's a bustling area of the park, it just looks so old and outdated that this ride should help freshen up the atmosphere!

Haven't you heard of Superman's worst arch nemesis The Giant Cheese?

Superman looks way better with the red and blue. Hopefully they bring back/move onto better trains. I heard the Bizarro trains were horrible. I'm really happy they're making this move lol.

Well then I hope you weren't too excited because the park has stated that the restraints are not changing, the huge headrests on the train will not be removed also even though they won't be playing sound on board anymore and also on one of the train's cars 2 seats are missing to make room for the audio box, well the box is being removed but no seats will be added.

They basically are just repainting it red and painting the trains silver. That's it and I shouldn't expect more from this park.

Was to be expected from Six Flags. Although removing headrests wouldn't cost any money. They probably don't feel like storing them in their storage which is already occupied by the missing seats.
