The Official K'NEX Thread!

I thought it would be a cool idea for people to share their K'NEX creations in this thread! A couple rules, though:

1: Don't go off topic.
2: Strictly K'NEX in this area! Try to refrain from posting anything else (exception for shaping and such)
3: HAVE FUN! K'NEX is all about it! :D

4: Don't be Mr. Freeze and brag about his Son of Serpent, that little b*tch... /s

Have fun sharing! :D

It's funny you bring this up--I just today posted a video of my last K'nex coaster, "Cloudburst".

Photo Dec 21, 2 49 00 PM.jpg

It's a B&M mega/giga that stood about 8 feet high.

Here are all three videos I have uploaded of it:

Maybe, it depends on how much pain and how excited i am in after i put it up. Plus, it depends on what happens between now and then.

It is really upsetting to me that you own a Son of Serpent set.

Dirk that is one of the most impressive K'nex creations I've ever seen. I wish I had the knowledge/skill to design and incorporate an automated control system.

Yay after looking at these colorful tracks, I thought that I would do the same for my NL1 tracks! :D

His previous project was a fully automated boomerang coaster:

Dirk that's sweet. I don't know who this is, but check out this giant inverted boomerang:

I am making a Knex Prone Pediatric Stander (for actual human use.)

The footboard holds me standing on it very well.

I will use my sandles for the foot straps.

I am making this style of Stander and I will be standing in the prone position.

I am now finished with the basic foot board.

I really want to have a pediatric stander for me to use in the prone position. I have high functioning autism. I cannot afford to pay 6,100 dollars for a real one.

This is the real one I want to have to use.

How do those things correlate? You don't have to flaunt having autism.
I think the hard part of building your own out of K'nex, besides having enough pieces, would be making it sturdy enough to support a human weight.

I can stand with both feet on the part I have already built so far with no structural problem. I weigh 195 lbs.
