Heh they got some nice topography at that park. I missed that it'll be LSM as well. It will be interesting to see if this is more reliable or not. Kinda wondering if this will be an energy whore or not relative to a cable launch.

I have absolutely no merit in saying one way or the other, but I reason that LSM would require less energy. Powering a 20,000 horsepower drum for 4 seconds could take more power than sequentially turning on a series of electromagnets over a period of like 7 seconds, but again, I don't know the science behind it. When / where did we find out that it would be LSM launched?

This thing looks really cool in the skyline. Why is this new area like 6 miles from the park?

Does the hydraulic drum thing have some kind of flywheel that does something with energy storage? Again no meaningful physics or engineering background.

Science for megastructures is getting better and better day by day. So are coaster-related technologies! :)

It looks like someone built it in no limits and didn't finish supporting the top.

Eh it's got beefy track it's fine. It looks to weird without the 270 roll the others have lol. Should be a more thrilling drop.

^ I guess that this will provide a pure drop experience compared to other Stratas with the "twisted nose dive" moment! Looks pretty awesome to me!

It somehow looks more elegant than TTD or Kingda Ka, and I have no idea why.

I think the tower is more slender than TTD, especially towards the top!

That straight run part is still in mystery. What will the riders feel there? :)

I like that there's just a 90 degree twist on he way down, I always felt the 270 on TTD and KK took away from the drop.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

So, they finished the coaster pretty much before a regular coaster season starts. Hmmm... A soft opening would be nice. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they finished the area immediately around the coaster then soft opened it to hotel guests or something
