That is really damned cool. Would be cool if they timed th two rides with each other.

Been at the park today for an hour. (Originally planned 3 hours but a car/truck accident killed those 2 hours.)

Most important stuff first, it was testriding and it looked a lot faster than the first footage:

(I love the launch sound btw!)

I don't think I've ever looked forward to seeing a POV of a coaster more than this one

Dirk, that launch sound is awesome! That's not like an "everlasting" one for TTD & Kingda Ka, but I love both! :D

Glad to see the thing flying through certain parts like that overbank after the 2nd launch now!

I like the way the non-standard Intamin trains look while swooshing through the S curves.

The launch sound is really cool! Probably it`s own unique launch sound like no other because it lies underground or surrounded by those rock walls. Gives it a bit of an echo effect i assume?

^The video footage is with it's harder testing wheels. The article mentions that they are switching the wheels to their operation wheels, which are completely silent when the train runs through the track. :) I can't wait to see the multi-train tests going on. Should provide some interesting footage and hopefully some good dual train action throughout the layout!

That's still not full speed. The magazine article which the park posted stated that they are still in the first stages of testing and the launches have to be operated from a train that is completely stopped. It's going to be even faster than that!

The airhill in that video looks like it has a decent pop of air in it already. Should be a great ride.

Yeah some bits already look dirt quick - the endings seem slower than they will end up being which I assume is down to the hard wheels.

I don't think so. Where a megalite mostly has to do it from it's quick shots of ejector air. Taron mostly will have it from it's close calls and quick transitions. There aren't a lot of airtime moments from what I've seen.

Phantasialand registered a new name and logo. Most likely for the new area restaurant.

Edit: Picture Broken

Sound tests from 18-04-16.
I think this will be amazing if there is a story telling while preparing for launch. I also like the echo effect throughout the area, reminds me a bit of Nemesis. Thanks to the rocks.
That German voice sounds so evil :p
