Aerial blueprints

I agree, that thing hurt my eyes and my OCD was acting up . After a little while I started to see what's going on in the blueprints.

CF is really bad at keeping their plans secret. First Valravn and now this. This is Carowinds' second time posting a page up too early. (Last year's Centurion "leak" if that counts.)

I think it's currently called "Boomerang Bay"

Carolina Harbor comes to Carowinds

Boomerang Bay will be completely transformed, and Carolina Harbor will become the largest waterpark in the Carolinas. Best of all, entry will still be included with the price of admission to Carowinds.

Splashworks, part of the new, expansive two-acre family area at #CarolinaHarbor Waterpark. It will feature over 80 play elements!

Eh. The name had to be changed at some point. And the average person won't recognize the wrong name on a page like that. And they don't want to wait until after the announcement to bring the pages down to change the names, they want them ready so people can immediately look at them. So its better to change them a day or two early and hope it stays unnoticed with the risk that yea, if it is noticed, oh well, it was only 2 days until the announcement anyway.

They are also getting a new starbucks near the front entrance of the park!

Looks like pretty good waterpark expansion. I've never been there before, but it should give the area a nice new look.

Meanwhile on Carowinds' Facebook page, the whining about how this is replacing Thunder Road has begun.

Dorney is a much smaller park but WWK has 2 wave pool, 3 if you count that one has 2 sides, they fill up with people rather quickly. having more than one is sorta the same as having more than one water slide complex.

On another note, I love the themeing and style of the buildings. It is very east coast shore like and fits perfectly.
