Yeah but MN has year round coasters and great flat rides too :P I'm going to MOA in two days for some relief.

SFNE and Lake Compounce both aren't open yet and don't open until next month.

I'll wait for Phobia though, it will be so worth it.

While most of you are already out at the theme parks riding coasters on weekends, I've still got 3.5 weeks left to go. VF should open early this year with all of the unusually warm weather we've been having .

I'd say my offseason has technically already begun since I've gone back to college, although I will be working at Valleyfair for two more weekends this fall, and I bought a Nick Universe annual pass for the first time (now that they lowered the price to $139), which should make this winter much more bearable than previous ones. Anyway, a lot of my time this offseason will be spent studying the weather (majoring in meteorology), going to the movies a few times a month, and watching lots of football and hockey.

The off-season has arrived once again :(. Though to be honest, I am semi-grateful for the offseason. I've been dealing with park burnout since I was at Valleyfair and other parks so much this season, so I definitely need some time off to make everything fresh again come next spring.

Off-season is for the joy of learning and/or reviewing coasters and parks! :D

No limits, POV's and wishing I could make it up to mall of America lol. Wouldn't mind honestly heading up to Minnesota for some Vikings football.

Anyways I am waiting for winter chill out tickets to go on sale in January and waiting for an ACE event at ki (usually happens this time of the year) to go to during the offseason.

Ha ha, I got into the off-season about a month before you guys did. So I win. Unless someone has had their off-season start at the end of August or something.

That's a joke right? What complaint could they have possibly given?

They should only be allowed to complain about the coaster being built too far away from them.

^ Agreed! Always fun to study (I won't say "learn" because coasters and amusement rides indeed have a freakin' long history!) coasterology! xD
