Question regarding NL2 Professional and Steam

Hey guys,

I would like to get into doing some 3D scenery for coasters in Blender, and for that I need the spline importer/exporter offered in the Pro version. My question is if I have the standard steam version installed, and I purchase the Professional upgrade, if the files given are extractable/applicable to the steam version, and if auto-updating would still be functional. If anyone knows this and is willing to help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

NL2 standard and professional are identical programs - they use a product key to unlock the extra features found in the professional version.

so the upgrade should work on the steam version then?

The response I received when request a steam key for my pro version was:

"If you have the Pro version already installed on your computer, then the Steam version should recognize that and automatically unlock the Pro features.
If you do not yet have the Pro version installed, click on "Info -> Upgrade" and enter your Pro Key to turn the Standard version into a Professional version."

I did the latter option so yes it should.
