Drayton Manor: (realistic)

2016: Wild West Shoot Out completely refurbished (tiny station, blasters don't always work, etc), more walk-in driers near storm force 10 (currently 1)

2017: Toby's Tram Express removed from Thomas Land (too intense for that area), relocated to another part of the park and re-themed.

2018: new Thomas Land attraction to replace Toby's Tram Express.

2019: zoo enlarged (currently tiny).

2020: new family launched coaster (Tyre-launched, non-inverting).

I know Dorney will get little to nothing in the next 5 years, but if its fantasy
Steel Force gets the B&M trains
Get rid of the inverted shuttles and replace with a small TGG or an infinity coaster
I would love to see Cedar Fair buy Bushkill park's old kiddie rides which haven't been touched since hurricane Sandy
A new Entrance would be amazing, and the re-routing the parking lot( At least the overflow lot which has its exit away from the highway)
The space between Talon and Hydra is basically all concrete so some new green spaces would be wonderful too.

You really want that? You would actually be excited to wait 2 hours to ride a 40 second B&M built when Hole was still out-selling Nirvana and people were astonished you could make a corkscrew with a whip in it and nobody died?

Regarding the conversions, Mantis' problem was that it was too intense, and even then you can tell something isn't "right" with the floorless conversion in its current state. Yeah it's smooth and a good ride now, but it's a tiny standup with no substance. For a park with rides that can lay on the G's like Raptor and Maverick, it really says something when they had to pull a section of the first drop out, slap brakes on it, and then put this tumor on the side of the control panel that says "on/off" with this sad key in it that was discolored because it was never removed. The ride was a problem from day 1. Did any of the other B&Ms built anywhere at any time before or after ever have major "surgery"like this?

Vortex is not a 12 million dollar beached-whale smack in the center of the park across from what is its arguably the most-liked attraction that isn't the Dumbo Ride at Disneyworld among everyone in the United States. The current Cedar Fair business plan is to get rid of old beat up poop (CP entrance) and to focus on image. This is why everyone is getting the "entrance coaster" that can. You cannot have a universally-hated ride in the immediate background of the giant blue thing on all the brochures, and that's why it was fixed. I don't agree with the fix since we've progressed a long way from Arrow loopers ripping out earrings and I think people need to grow a pair, but still, it was a problem. You could guess with reasonable accuracy the amount of "new" vs. "regular" guests with the Mean Streak and Mantis ridership numbers for the day because nobody from within 400 miles will ride either. When I went on the Rougarou conversion last year the entire train's conversation in main brake was total disbelief that it was actually a rideable attaction again.

That being said I don't see any of the other remaining standups being converted to a floorless, unless Green Lantern is sent to somewhere like SFGAm or SFOT and passed off as a new ride. Riddler won't be touched since people actually like it and that park already has a floorless, Chang O Lantern I already mentioned, and we all know what happened to the other "big" standup. I think it would be stupid to convert one of the little 2 or 3 tiny things into a floorless. Why not just get a new one or spend the same money relocating a ride that isn't ass?

Hurler improvements? Why bother?

Mean Streak's days are numbered since I don't see how a Ghostrider-style fix would help it when the layout is total ass with all of the brakes after a light rain. Then again it would be an interesting challenge to see how GCI could possibly make it even more boring.

Do guests need to get on the ride faster? I doubt it has had a full queue in 2 decades, and I'd bet you don't even ride it every time you visit.

Disneyland Resort (parks only):

2017: Disneyland Railroad reopens, Rivers of America reopen, Fantasmic returns, All elements of Season of the Force leave Tomorrowland except Star Wars Launch Bay, Launch Bay is expanded to cover two levels with models of Star Wars Land, Guardians of the Galaxy retheme of Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
2018: Upgrade remaining Fantasyland Dark Rides (Mr. Toad, Snow White, and Pinocchio), Monsters, Inc. and the surrounding part of Hollywood Land closes, Fantasyland Theater demolished
2019: Star Wars Land begins AP previews after holiday period and opens to all visitors to correspond with Episode IX's release, Star Wars Launch Bay closes
2020: 65th anniversary celebration, with the debut of a new fireworks show and new version of World of Color. Additionally, an Arendelle mini-land opens on the site of the Fantasyland Theater with a Frozen trackless dark ride, meet and greet area, and a full service restaurant. 2025: Disneyland's 70th anniversary. A completely overhauled Tomorrowland opens, with a new version of the PeopleMover, the return of the Rocket Jets, a Wall-E dark ride in Star Tours's former space, and a new unique attraction in the Tomorrowland Expo Center building. Additionally, the world of Zootopia opens on the former site of Toontown, featuring two family-friendly rides (one a dark ride) and various shops, restaurants, and meet and greet opportunities.

Universal Studios Hollywood:

2017: Secret Life of Pets dark ride opens on the Lower Lot. Shrek 4-D closes.
2018: Jurassic World attraction replaces Revenge of the Mummy. Studio Tour loading area is relocated to Lower Lot. Waterworld closes.
2019: Jimmy Fallon ride replaces Shrek 4-D. Retheme existing portions of Lower Lot to a uniform theme.
2020: Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion on Lower Lot, with an area themed to the Fantastic Beasts trilogy.
2021: Nintendo Land replaces Waterworld and the former Studio Tour loading area, with two separate mini-lands connected by a warp pipe.

Knott's Berry Farm:

2017: Knott's Soak City expansion with two new slide towers containing 7 slides (1 family raft slide, 2 innertube slides, and 4 trapdoor body slides). Boomerang closes.
2018: Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster on the former site of Boomerang and Riptide. The coaster is slightly smaller than Monster (100-125 ft tall, ~2200 ft long, 3-4 inversions) and similar in intensity to Silver Bullet.
2019: Fiesta Village refresh with a new flat on Windseeker's site.
2020: Remove Pony Express and relocate backstage buildings from behind Bigfoot Rapids.
2021: B&M Hyper. The station is roughly in the same location as Pony Express's, with the lift climbing over Bigfoot Rapids and the majority of the coaster taking place in the cleared area behind the ride. The coaster is approximately the same size as Mako (200 ft tall, 4,700 ft long).

Six Flags Magic Mountain:

2017: Justice League dark ride on site of Action Theater.
2018: Mack PowerSplash on Flashback's site. The ride is accessible from both Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor. Additionally, SFMM begins selling combo tickets with a gate at this access point to allow easier two park access. Additionally, Viper receives two new Vekoma trains.
2019: Cyclone Bay refurbishment with a complete GCI retrack of Apocalypse and a couple new flat rides. Apocalypse receives a new name to fit the new theme.
2020: Samurai Summit overhaul. Superman switches to running one train forward and one backward, Ninja receives two new trains, the Sky Tower is reopened, a new restaurant is installed in the Laughing Dragon building, and a year-round Willoughby's Mansion maze is added. Additionally, a chairlift is installed running from Spin Out's spot to the base of the Sky Tower.
2021: SFMM's 50th anniversary, featuring a RMC T-Rex Giga Coaster (placement TBD).

It's not just "temporary closed," it's fully SBNO. The ride was removed from the park website and park maps a year or two ago. From what I've heard, something broke on it, but due to the nature of the repair the attraction would change classification from "elevator" to "amusement ride" and be required to meet all the codes of the latter. Reportedly repairing it and bringing it up to code would be $5+ million since most parts would need to be custom made. Removing it would be more than that, so the park decided to just leave it be until they figure out what to do with it.

The Seaworld Orlando skytower has been closed for about a month, I wonder if its having similar problems.
