I know I posted this on more forums but I am getting crazy.

Sorry for bringing this up.

But I want to get back to nl2 and blender/maya and unity 3D. But I need help to get a good computer. It's my first time buying a computer but I'm scared to pick wrong parts.

Is someone willing to make a part list on pcpartpicker with parts that I still can buy? If so thank you! Have been searching for a year now but always come the same coclusion. To start over again becouse I was and still am scared to f*ck it up and getting a bad computer rig (is rig really a word for it :P).

What I want it to be capabel of is (Making complex renders of really complicated scene's in blender/maya, a smooth experience when doing video editing)
Overal, I want to do multi tasks and complex fast rendering with maya. Yes, I'm going over to maya. Sorry blender.

I am willing to pay something around 1000???. It is enough? Idk

Hope to get into nl2 again soon.

Thanks again. And I miss to be here.
Yes....

http://www.microcenter.com/product/463637/FX_8350_Black_Edition_40GHz_Eight-Core_Socket_AM3_Processor_with_Wraith_Cooler

I recommend this processor. Its cheap and more than you will ever need. On the lower section of that page you can click on add-ons and it will show you a few motherboards, cases, and ram that is compatible with that processor. Then you just need a 850-1000 watt power supply, hard/SS drive, DVD rom(just get a $10 one), and a graphics card. do your research on each component to find the one that you want. For the most part you only need to make sure your Motherboard, processer, and RAM need to be 100% compatible with each other, however the Power supply(as long as it has enough power), Graphics card and DVD rom, are all pretty much compatible with anything.

My rig is this
Processor - AMD FX 8350 http://www.microcenter.com/product/463637/FX_8350_Black_Edition_40GHz_Eight-Core_Socket_AM3_Processor_with_Wraith_Cooler

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA 990FXA http://www.microcenter.com/product/466286/GA-990FXA-UD3_AM3_ATX_Intel_Motherboard

RAM - This is only 8gb of RAM and will be fine but, I did go later and get 2 more for a total of 16gb.http://www.microcenter.com/product/382101/Ballistix_Sport_8GB_DDR3-1600_(PC3-12800)_CL9_Dual_Channel_Desktop_Memory_Kit_(Two_4GB_Memory_Modules)?rf=Add-Ons%3eRAM%3e

Case - http://www.microcenter.com/product/432417/Versa_H22_Special_Edition_Mid_Tower_Case_-_Black?rf=Add-Ons%3eCases%3e

Power Supply - for me this was the hardest part. I cant remember what PSU I'm using but if you use a large graphics card or even 2 of them you will need 850-1000 Watts. If you only want 1 graphics card and it doesn't use too much power you could use this one. However I recommend getting one with more power if you think you may upgrade in the future.

Cooler - The cooler that comes with the AMD processor isn't the best so I got this one instead, I recommend doing the same.
http://www.microcenter.com/product/373900/Hyper_212_EVO_Universal_CPU_Cooler?rf=Essentials%3eCPU+Cooling%3e

DVD - I just get the cheapest one I can find, I rarely use it anyway. You can find them for as low as $10. If it breaks buy another one. :P

Here is where most of the money goes!

Graphics card - Geforce GTX 970 http://www.microcenter.com/product/441663/GeForce_GTX_970_FTW_GAMING_4GB_GDDR5_Video_Card_w-_ACX_20_Silent_Cooling

Hard Drive - You can get a 500gb hard drive for like $50, or a SSD for 10x the price but also 10x the speed. I got mine for $500 a couple years ago, but the prices have come down quite a bit. I highly recommend getting a SSD if you can afford it.

One of my favorite things about my rig is the 8 core processor. I can have so much crap going at once and it never skips a beat. Hope this helps.

P.S. You may be able to find some stuff cheaper online. I use microcenter cause its right next to my house.

That site is your best bet in finding components at any pricerange. If you want I could sketch something up for you myself (I build computers for people as a bit of a side-job), but I'm currently on my way to the airport for the midwest trip. That site is a generally good starting point and I can vouch for whatever components they reccomend, although I would suggest the Western Digital blue or black line for hard drive, as I have found they tend to last longer than Seagate drives.

Thanks for offering help. But I just want to ask one more question. What does those blank spaces mean as shown on the pic.

I would be more then happy to get a helpful sketch but I don't want you to not make it without will.

Thank you all.

The spaces just mean the reccomended component is the one above the space, it is organized so that the further down in a category you go the better the component but more expensive. For instance there will be multiple hard drive options per tier, but only 1 reccomended cpu. If you're willing to wait a bit I'll be spending like 3 hours at the airport so I can get out my laptop and see what I can do. If you want you can PM me spesifics of what you want to do on it, and features you'd like to have. Also if the budget inclides things like monitor, keyboard and mouse, operating system etc.

^ Yeah, I wish for you to play NL2 in an ideal way! :)

... As for me, I have actually tried a NL2 demo once and ended up knowing that my laptop (which is too old) didn't meet any requirements lol. That's why I am still sticking to NL1.

Hahaha, the end!
