This looks like a fun GCI that will be a decent fit for the park. No, it doesn't look like the best GCI ever (or even the best in the Cedar Fair chain), but it is still different from the other wood coasters in the Midwest and will appeal to the same crowd that enjoys Racer and Beast. I am a little curious why Kings Island, which has the best wood coaster collection in the Cedar Fair chain (and arguably the best overall coaster collection) is receiving a GCI before some of the other parks that would probably benefit more from the ride (Canada's Wonderland, Cedar Point, and to a lesser extent Carowinds come to mind), but it should be a success in any case.
I think these days modern woodies in parks without woodies can be a hard sell - Alton struggled with wooden coasters (outside of the enthusiast community) being a popular investment (they did a poll I believe and woodies didn't fare well) which probably has contributed to the family woodie they plumped with.
