Hows everyone going with their parks. Ive done the coaster, the entrance (will probably go back and work on it some more) and done a little themed area in the next to the coaster with some rides. Everything on the opposite side of the stadium is still blank. Im still thinking what is the right thing to put there.

I almost have my Winter themed section completely done, and I've done a wooden twister that achieves E>I>N. I still gotta theme the 11 inverter.

Well I have done some theming and added some rides to the park, redone the entrance which looks pretty good, but that 11 inverter is really making me pull my hair out. I have done coasters with 8 or 9 inversions but never 11, this is really a challenge for me ,but Hey, I love it, I have been going back and forth on this and my park I am trying to wrap up, but I think I will get a feel of the 11 invert soon and complete it....Evo

Tweaked my 11 invert to E=9.41 : I=9.49...sooo close![xx(] Think I will just leave it at that probably, since I have themed and landscaped the hell out of the area.[lol]

I also planned out the last theme to my park. I've got a coaster by the stadium, and another one by the entrance, and some ideas for a few gentle rides. I'm really going to try for a more balanced mix of rides this time. I've got my main path layout worked out as well. I may end up doing two of these, because I am going to be done way before the deadline! [:p]

Without theming, my I is about mid 9 and E is around 8, so I should hopefully have an Excitement rating of around 9 when I am finished theming it.

my 11 inverter isnt that great but im satisfied. I got a good, clasic out and back woodie, a Vekoma with just the cobra roll (no loop) and some flat rides. I cant get into RCT now but hey i have a month to build yet [:)]

I have 5 coasters, 3 of which are over 4,000ft in lenght(no shuttle coasters either), 22 flat rides, 3 of which are 'tracked' rides, good section and placement of shops/food stalls/bathrooms, all in a very realistic, very well landscaped, and not 'jammed' park layout. I think I over done it abit on the entrance midway theme, but it dose look outstanding. I still have alot more themeing to do and still have more room to build on. When done, my park will use up 3/4 of the land, leaving a 1/4 of the land for a forest.

I know this is off-topic, but congrats to Intaminfan on his 1000th post! Anyways, my park is half done. It's ok so far, my 11 inverter is done, and im satisfied with it. Still have to theme around my it tho.

you know that little island at the edge of the map? I kinda "urban sprawl" themed it - it's totally covered with thrill rides, something like 5 of them. It's playing urban music out there & I was just bouncing the "bunched together urban sprawl" as themeing idea off people here...

still need to tweak my *blows raspberry* 11 inverter.

By the sounds of it everyone has done more than me. When I get some free time and get my ideas together hopefully alot of work will get done. Your parks all sound great. keep up the good work.

Yeah I dont understand the point of the 1000 guests in park objective either. I think it's rather pointless.

Well RCT is not all about building a park, it also is about running a park. When you got guests in your park it is easier to see if everything works right. For example how you covered the paths with handymen or guards or whatever.
If you don't have 1000 guests in your park, you'll just miss out on some easy points. If you have no guests at all it will result in a penalty.

yeah, what GFA said - besides, it's more fun if there are people screaming on coasters and stuff...

[:(!] Well, I just did a LOT of theming in the scenario editor, and now I get a freakin' Error Trapper every time I try to open the scenario. [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!] I have most of my rides done. After I redo the crapload of themeing that I lost, I'll probably be about 3/4 done.

ouch - I figured out how to get around the error trapper if it waits a little while before popping up....if it comes up while building (or in my case, it was demolishing) a coaster, just wait until the approxamate ammount of time has passed, and THEN do whatever you were gonna.

[pshades]Figured it out... There was a defective piece of scenery - an "invisible path." I was gonna put it over water and put the jumping fountains on it...another idea down the drain...[flush]

Anyway, my park's back on track, so you can all sleep soundly again. [:D][lol] It had about 900 peeps before I took it into the editor, so don't think the 1000 goal will be a problem.

...got E>I>N by the way...[:O][lol]

Sign me up, GFA. Now that my computer troubles are over, I should be able to make an attempt. The 11-inversion coaster should be no problem, because my NL coaster, Grendel had that many inversions... all I have to do is adapt it to RCT... [:p] This is a reallt cool scenario. thanks to Bardy for making it.
