Mystic Timbers - Kings Island's 2017 GCI POV!

From the park's Twitter and Instagram, the reservoir for White Water Canyon has been drained.





Also...........................something for the new Haunt "Field of Dreams" as a friend sent this to me.

Photos of everything going on around the park on labor day of 2016, construction video to come soon. Im going to assume once the park is closed for winter, that the train tracks and station will moved in the direction towards the Eiffel Tower to incorporate the station for Mystic Timbers.................i wont be surprised if this doesn't happen.

If Field of Dreams has nothing to do with baseball playing zombies then they're doing it wrong.

I sort of find this new woodie to be the Daughter of Beast.

Has there been much said about the entire entrance plaza to the ride and what not? Cedar Fair has recently re-done areas and not just plop down rides, so I'm wondering if we're going to see some new plaza.

According to those photos showing the process of clearing lands, I believe that MT will be looking way better than the "simulated" one posted online.

Hope so.

Couple Quick updates:

-Field of Screams: from what I've heard, It'lll be like a hybrid maze. You will be able to choose your own path out of the two provided. half will be indoor and half will be outdoor. For anyone that has done the Cornstalkers mazes formerly at KI and now at other cedar fair owned parks, basically think of this maze as Cornstalker 2.0

-Mystic Timbers: BOY OH BOY THAT HILL IS HUGE

They're making good progress on that

Some pictures from the employee Dry run last night. Always fun and some of the mazes i have never been through are AMAZING.


But first a couple things: MYSTIC TIMBERSIS PERFECT FOR RIVERTOWN. You can literally see it from ANYWHERE in Rivertown.


My thoughts on the two mazes i went through:
-BLACKOUT: I can now see why this is what was considered the best maze in the area. You can LITERALLY see nothing.All though if you run into a dead end multiple times you probabily have the wrong person leading your group :lmao:

-Field of Screams: Located in Coney Mall, in the middle of nowhere, behind Dinosaurs Alive and thats all im saying about this maze................

Eh I'm not going to believe that unless I see the truck in clear writing. There are a ton of little cranes like that everywhere, and white is a super common color.

Everytime I hear dueling banjos I think of Virginia and remind myself I never want to drive I-95 around there again.

Beast has a new lift sign! and an "island for footers" for Timbers in White Waters reservoirs.

As in fact it is. BUT LET ME SAY THIS. I never thought of how tall this ride would be until i walked into the park, heading through Snoopy, and heading to the log flume for work. over the tree's IN SNOOPY, you can see the lift top.
