I've never been to Cedar Point, but I plan to go sometime soon, maybe this summer. For those who have gone, I want to know what ride you think is best! [:D]

I didn't vote, you forgot Magnum. That's my favorite ride their, followed by MF or Blue Streak.

Personally, I don't find the coasters at CP very thrilling. They lack intensity and most of the rides don't have much force, and a lot of them are very boring. I think the best ride there is Blue Streak, because of the good air and is way more fun than the other coasters at CP.

Blue streak, one of the few forceful caosters there. A close second is maggie though, without teh trims. Maggie sure does have negative g.

i say mf, i like it better than ttd because ttd is pretty much a really really long line, and on the ride, by the time you get to the top, you dont even notice how high you are cause you're already coming down, but mf lasts a long time and the speeded lift adds to the ride, instead of crawling along on your way up.

Millennium Force kicks! Ride it at night if you want the thrill of your life.

MF at night, well, it still doesn't make the ride amazing. MF has basicly a great first drop, and the bunny hill at the end with great airtime is cool, but everything else is very tame. Just a lot of speed with no force in the turns, and the 2 main air hills have 0 gs...could've used a bit more airtime there.

Yea, If those two big hills in the middle of the ride had some good airtime, that ride would be the best. It only has one good airtime hill and thats the one at the end.

The Turn-around on MF has some force, but nothing major. And the first drop is one of the best ive been on.So i voted for MF.

Mantis for me, i just thought that was great. Not into the woodies, and TTD wasn't built, and the rest of the rides seemed pretty tame, sept the 2 big ones, erm, magnum, is it? and erm millenium force, they were good, but i'm not into all that hyper coaster business, but they were still pretty good, anyway, it dont really matter, its still the best park in the world (for rides)

Nah, its not near the best park in the world for rides. You want some good rides, go to Knoebels, Holiday World, LeSourdsville Lake Park (has Screechin' Eagle, incredible ride, it alone is better than everything at CP combined), PKD is good for the non traditional parks, but CP is more of a family park IMO. Been there twice, and everything is boring for me there already.

Funny how opinions can so drastically change over just a few short months. [:P] Don't you just hate it when your past comes back to haunt you? [lol]

lol...I voted Millenium Force. It is ssssoooo smooth so if you have some one with back problems *cough* my mom *cough* it is a great ride. I love the airtime and first drop.

Yeah, I think its a great family coaster, since it isn't too intense for most people, and it is a fun ride, but not what I would call very exciting or thrilling, and I wouldn't pay all that money to go to CP to ride it.

if397- what do you look for in judging real life coasters? you say that no coaster at cp is intence enough for you but then you also said in another poast that meanstreak is really rough.. wich is basically another word for intense..?you call every coaster in every park tame (except the ones you mentioned above) what do you look for in coasters? it just seems very unclear.

no meanstreak has a rough ride meaning that is very bumpy and jerkey, not intense.

I like coasters that throw you around (no, not rough, but throw you around, thats different), have good laterals, airtime, and intensity. Some examples would be Silver Comet, Phoenix, Raven, Legend, Twister, Screechin' Eagle, etc.

oh..... i seem to not know the difference between "rough" and "intense" lol.. they're the same to me. imo there are two kinds of rough, fun, and pain. and two kinds of intense... fun and pain.

IF, you hypocrite! j/k, but it's pretty funny to see you saying such words about MF back about a half a year ago, lol. But I must say it's kind of odd that you said you had a lot of fun riding MF seven months ago, but now it's a what you would call, non-exciting family ride. Hmmm....I'll let it go. Of course the best coaster at CP is Millennium Force, it's just many seem to deny this as they like to jump on the wooden coaster bandwagon. Well, woodies are generally better, but MF is by no means not exciting.
