Hi guys! so after editing a couple youtube videos and going through and deleting multiple duplicate pictures, I thought it would be time to post a medium sized TR from my trip to the park

First off this was my first time at the park since 2014, back when Mantis was closed and rougarou transformation was taking place. I would like to start with a couple reviews of the three main coasters i wanted to hit no matter what:

-Valravn: HOLY COW. This was my first dive coaster and boy oh boy, I dont know what was better, getting in the front row after a 10 minute wait for ERT, or seeing TONY CLARK HIMSELF on station Master! Loved the somewhat airtime on the hills and the selection of inversions but i stick with what someone told me while working Vortex saturday night, Valravn is a one trick pony.

-Rougarou: I was waiting for this ride as i never rode a floorless coaster and wanted to see how it felt differently since the last time i rode it, it was Mantis. Needless to say i was somewhat surprised and impressed and i hope more parks decide to start doing Standup/Floorless conversions.(ALSO DOES THIS COUNT AS A NEW CREDIT!)

-Maverick: Last time i rode maverick was with the old hard shell OTSR. BOY OH BOY my top ten list will be updated. This is in the top 5 hands down!

Anyways enough of talking and heres my latest youtube video and pictures!

You photographed Delo! Thank you for Rougarou pictures, they remind me of the hearing loss I incurred.

You probably hit the 100 photo limit when uploading the first part of the trip report. You can upload more than 100, just not more than 100 at once.

Thanks for the great set of photos. Looks like you got really lucky with the crowds when you visited!

Yes it was a great day. I know i asked on TPR when to go and they said beginning of October since crowds would be scarce since it was so far away from Halloween

Valravn was pretty good, super smooth, honestly i found it as a one trick pony.

Gatekeeper was still running smooth and twisty, and forecless.

There would be a riot if they changed Raptors trains. The old restraints are so much more comfortable on the old style rides.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

I think the conversion killed 1/4 of the intensity, subdued the whips a bit, so I think it counts.

Sadly, I only rode four coasters there, as I'm a fan of inversions more than anything.

GateKeeper was incredibly fun for me. It's not intense, it's all about fun. People give this a lot of hate for some reason, but I like it a lot.

Rougarou I found to be a headbanger, so I'm really not a fan. I can see why, though. Cedar Point just had B&M repaint the track and give it floorless cars, that's all.

Iron Dragon wasn't that bad, it was just child's play for an enthusiast like me. It's an arrow; what do you expect?

Raptor... Oh my, Raptor... I love Raptor. It was intense, the inversions were excellent, and it was silky smooth for a mid-90's Invert. Along with the new paint job, it was beautiful to look at. Shame I couldn't ride it multiple times. :(

That's a joke right? What complaint could they have possibly given?

They should only be allowed to complain about the coaster being built too far away from them.

That's 4 coasters. Rougarou definitely has headbanging, but there's nothing that can be done. It's not the track or the cars but the transitions themselves. They're much snappier than normal for a b&m. They're what make the ride great while always being the one flaw.

Oh, yeah, that's right... I remembered about Iron Dragon right before I posted that, and I apparently forgot to edit the "three" into "four". Thanks for pointing that out.

Also, thanks for pointing out what was causing the headbanging on Rougarou.

You understand the kind of stormy hellscape that peninsula could become in winter right?

Cincinnati is way south and doesn't have the lake surrounding it. The Great Lakes in the winter are one of the most dangerous bodies of water on the planet.

Even 300 miles to the east we still get lake effect snow time to time.
What are these for?
