And now the moment you've all been waiting for...

THE CURVEBALL!!!!

Cedar Point was so excited to start on the project that they told RMC to hurry up with the track removal progress. Unfortunately due to the quick removal of track, RMC managed to start a fire on the ride and the entire right half burned down. The park released this revised template showing the ride. The park has stated that everything to the right of the vertical white line has burned down and can be rebuilt to have a new layout by RMC.

Image

Track can extend up to the light red boundary, while supports can extend to the dark red boundary. All rules from before still apply, including the station and lift location. You do not have to use this new template if you wish to keep using the old one then you may but still keep in mind that the to the right of the vertical white line.

To use the new template, just import your old coaster in from the old template!

So you just burned the prelift?

What's the point? lel
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

It's easier to import the new templates into your existing coaster.

Sweet! I was going to have to fix some layout problems in that part of the ride anyway, very clever curve ball. :D

Well they lit Colossus on fire super intensely and lit Goliath's station on fire, which is something Intamin and B&M didn't do when they used that station previously.

I just got a layout I'm happy with today, then logged on to see this. Well, I'm going to pretend that RMC decided that to avoid another Lightning Rod debacle they decided to rebuild the damaged structure exactly as is and not ruin their relationship with Cedar Fair by delaying their first ride due to extensive redesign. Anyway, as promised I've got a few teaser pictures to share...

RMC Mean Streak 1-1.png
As Cedar Fair was willing to give RMC twice the budget they usually get for a Six Flags project, they've decided to create their largest ride to date. The yet unnamed coaster will stand 200 ft. tall and have a track length of 6,000 ft.

RMC Mean Streak 1-2.png
Cedar Point invented the Over-Banked Curve when they opened Millennium Force in 2000, but it has become a signature element of RMC's rides. The designer pays tribute to it here, including five such curves during the ride, along with four inversions and numerous airtime moments.

RMC Mean Streak 1-3.png
As one of the biggest complaints about Mean Streak was the slow speed of the ride, RMC has created a high speed rampage through Frontier Town. Despite the initial drop's size, the remainder of the ride rarely reaches above 100 ft. And, in addition to what has been shown here, there are still a few surprises to be announced. Stay tuned for more info soon.

I'll cave and post something. Ya'll are making things less um......weird than me and I'm concerned. Hopefully my terrible design gives Maverick and Magnum a run for their money.

Also I totally missed an opportunity to use this gif with the curveball, so here it is anyways!

Cosmic Latte is the average color of the visable universe, and is seen in the rides support structure. The rails are colors derived from a Nebula.

Here is Cosmic Latte's wicked first drop, accompanied by two airtime hills.

Those colors work really well together Coasterdude! And bandman, your ride reminds of an ultra huge Wicked Cyclone.

Matt I'm expecting high quality support work from you. Must be better than Defiler or you lose instantly.

Me. Here is my impending nightmare for you all to judge:

The lift and block brakes are transport segments so I don't have to force the ride out of shuttle mode when I test it.
Also is there going to be another curveball?
