Here's mine so far. Might tweak some shaping later, idrk. 163ft tall, 5,523ft long, 5 inversions, and more airtime moments than the state of Ohio combined. Image

The double-up into a roll like that is really cool. Also is the bit parallel to the first drop a homage to Lightning Rod's quad down?

A little bit. The last two "downs" were an afterthought. Wasn't like that originally, I added those in as substitute for some other element.

That is very purple. I finished my track layout, will import the RMC rails today, and I'll be starting supports soon. Hopefully my G's aren't too much lol.

Good news...I spent the entire afternoon today making my ride look like a RMC and I really like how it turned out (though I may or may not change the rail color). Bad news...I then went to test it and found the additional drag due to using the rocket coaster put my ride at risk of stalling in high wind, so I now have to redesign a couple parts. Oh well...novice mistakes, I suppose. Also, does anyone know how to deal with the transfer track? I either wind up having nothing or a rocket coaster transfer.

Anyway, here's my ride as of today. Once I fix the track, it will be time to get started on all the support work.

What's it like to stare down from the top of Cedar Point's fifth 200+ ft coaster? Well, it looks something like this.

RMC Mean Streak 2-2.png
According to RMC, this coaster contains not one, not two, but three first of their kind elements. Is this one? You'll have to wait and see.

Those with a keen eye may be able to spot a unique element here. I'll give you a hint...don't look at the train.

For the last time, when supports and track are supposed to stay in the boundaries is that when they're frozen or unfrozen? I've asked in this thread before and multiple times in the chat, never receiving an answer.

If paradox doesn't answer I'd just assume frozen, If he gets on your case about it, I'll bring the smackdown on him

Double posting with a progress pic. This is should look better once I get the supports in. My ride is 20ish feet taller than the original, so the tall and skinny arch connects to most of the old lift, while a second perpendicular arch basically does what Wildfire in Kolmarden does to accommodate the drop steepness. Both arches are connected to each other for lateral support, so I didn't add any wide supports to them, but I might slap some on later.

Image

How is everyone else's entry going? I hope I have enough time to fix the lateral supports up how I want them.

No pictures of mine since it's pretty much the same as when I posted previously, only with steel crossbeams. I forgot how much time it takes to get a RMC right...I've spent three times as long as I expected to on supports and I'm only half done. I'll definitely have the ride finished in time, but I've got a feeling it will have minimal theming, if any.

^^ Those supports are, IMO, marvelous, even compared to most "Discovery Channel's" Megastructures! :)

The template and everything for this contest was great, but all this contest did was give me another reason to absolutely hate custom trains.

The RMC rails are a tremendous Windows 8-level memory whore and I cannot work on the supports in any capacity with them present. I can copy and paste the whole structure 3 times and still have better memory usage than when the RMC rails are imported into the game. Sorry to complain and give this totally unfinished entry, it's just that mods like that are bloated crap and have always been crap.

Here is what would have been. Sorry
