^ Wow true "Nick Cage" rides! I dare to get on them, though! The second video is a neat example of a "drumroll" announcement from Turbo!

 +

It's 900 feet off the ground... the height is the only factor of the ride. Obviously if it was 30 feet off the ground it wouldn't be "strange, unique, or insane."

I constantly wonder if you are actually retarded with the pointless comments you make

^ That skateboard ride has to be like a giant seesaw carried up like SWAT (before gliding down) with the "hit the wall or through the wall" effect! Can be converted into the more thrilling version!

:)

^There comes a point where those insane funfair rides have so many dimensions of motion it won't make much difference which one you ride.

There is a ride with quite a "history" that was supposed to be built. It was constructed in the factory (I believe in Hungary), but it was never shipped or installed due to a lawsuit.

Park "Bobbejaanland" in Belgium bought the ride for the year 2000, giving it the very original name "Thrillennium Ride". It was a boosterlike ride with 1 gondola that contained 54 (!) passengers and went up to 33 meters high.

This ride was constructed by Nauta Bussink (famous ferris wheel constructor) and spinned over 3 axis. It was supposed to be a true record breaking and immense thrill ride!

Unfortunately, things turned out different... Bobbejaanland bought the ride for an (unknown?) amount of money + a few of their own rides (as a "trade" deal). So they didn't only gave money, they also gave some old rides such as a Huss Condor, a (small) Vekoma coaster, a Huss Rainbow, a (very) small monorail. Actually also a break dance would have to be payed in advance but because the constructor kept asking more amounts of money than mentionned in the contract, Bobbejaanland stopt paying. Nauta Bussink than stopped construction of Thrillennium Ride in their factory.

That was a problem, not only because because there was already advertising for this new ride and because several rides had already disappeared but also because the foundation for the new ride was already complete. You can see on these pictures the Thrillennium Ride on the park map of the yar 2000 and the real foundation in the year 2000.

On this picture, you can also see a break dance, but on the park map (above the picture) you can notice that the break dance is missing. During winter period (park was closed) the new park map with Thrillennium ride was drawn but the Break Dance was supposed to be part of a "trade deal". Because of these issues above, the deal stopped and the Break Dance was not removed.

Bobbejaanland than started a lawsuit and won the lawsuit. Unfortunately, Bobbejaanland was sold before the lawsuit ended. The sale of the park had nothing to do with this ride, it had different reasons. Anyway, before the sale (2003) there was a Huss Giant Frisbee build on this foundation. If i'm not mistaking, it was the second one in the world. Ofcourse, also a great ride.

You can still see the 4 concrete footer foundations of the Thrillennium Ride next to the footers of the Giant Frisbee.

I've heard a lot of things about the thrillenium ride but never saw any pictures of it... It's a shame that the ride was never built. Although I also like the giant frisbee now standing there.

It was a good retrofit of the area.

I sense why that ride was not named like "Thrillennium Force" which sounded neat!
