So is that an "almost no" in vague civil engineer speak or what is that? I have no way of telling angles if it isn't my ride due to context.

That's a perpendicular shot. The answer is no, that is not a perfect semicircle.

Looks really good - terrain topography looks spot on and really helps the rides. Are the chainlink fences the ones I made? If that's the case and it'd help, I can dig out the original file and could probably create some different angle fencelines so you're not stuck with staggering them? I'm 99% sure I have it somewhere - if not I need to recreate it for my new ride anyway.

I'm pretty sure that your right in saying there should be an easy way to texture the area based on certain parameters - I can't check till I'm back home and can look on NL2 though.

As for rock packs my all time favourite is Bye Toms Rock Pack 1 - however I believe they aren't optimised for NL2 in terms of LOD.

I imagine you've seen the two other sets in the NL2 Seed File Topic so I won't list them!

Those pictures are actually stunning. I like what you've done with the scenery since the last set of pictures--the little trees add a lot to the beauty. The angles you screencapped are awesome and the level of detail in the graphics makes everything stand out more. And the colors are great too--the blue trains are simply ideal. I see what ckid means about the semi-circular dive loop and, though it's not, it's close. I'm pretty sure it's because of its small size. The train probably enters with a bit of speed so the top can't be as tight as we are used to seeing. Regardless, I'm sure it rides really nice ;)

^^mkingy! I'm not really sure who created those fences, but I was going to try to find some solution or alternative. I don't know how to do the fences on slopes without laying them! =( And I'll have to look into those rocks! Thank you!

^And yeah CKidmwm never followed up with that post so I don't know what he was getting at. Was he trying to get me to loosen up the bottom? Again?? The shaping is fine. It will max out at 4.0 acceleration g's at the bottom. Which is plenty strong, but Manta is stronger. Maybe I should consider making the bottom tighter...

The coaster name "Iridium" perfectly fits! Garbage is now a legit B&M Flyer, yay! Confirmed so among us! High time you changed the topic's name! :D

Like I said if you want some fences made up at some different angles drop me a pm and I'll see what I can figure out :)

I'm bringing back a few shits from being on hold and I'm going to try my best to catch up on supporting and stuff. If I can at least support some of my older stuff, I could still release it.

^Yes. Well, mildly. Here's just an overall update on all my current projects (that is, the ones that will eventually be completed, and explanations on the ones that got trash-status).

-My "SkyRush" is the one that I have the most interest in, but I have plenty of interest to go around. So while I may slowly add towards SkyRush, I had a big vision for it as final product, so some other projects may be worked on and released before SkyRush is finally released. Still lots to do.

Playing around with the color scheme for this Mack launch coaster. I'm planning on adding a good amount of 3D scenery to this coaster, or at least trying to. I'm just gonna pace myself because I really like this one. By the way, my previous laptop went to the shhitter because I spilled on it one too many times. I lay all of my previous projects to rest along with it (except for the Skyrush one, I still plan on finishing that). Oh well. My projects rarely drive me to finish them completely anyway. But this project is keeping me occupied.

On the Mack do the yellow or blue version. See if a dark brown works a bit better. Don't do what I do where all of your rides end up with white supports or the exact same as what inspired you.

I like the blue and brown. Oddest thing, I've been trying to get the supports to be a darker brown but no matter how much I play with the color palette, it never turns out darker lol. I'm probably going to play with color schemes a bit more as I flesh this out.

I like the red or blue schemes, myself. The blue could also work with another support color like darker brown ^, gray, black. In the end it'll be easier to decide depending on how you end up theming it with 3Ds and the types of trees and environment.

I resurrected this B&M giga to distract me from my small park thing up ^ there. Most of the tracks I start are results of being bored of other projects, but I still have everything you see in this thread, surprisingly. Apparently my process involves ditching an idea and returning to it later. I was reviewing my thread and I realized how incoherent that process seems on a timeline, but oh well.

BUTT I am certainly releasing this B&M giga soon. It's almost done. Here are some images to showcase it. It's 335 feet tall with a 325 foot drop, and it has a track length of 6690 feet.

Hehe this is me trying my hand at some simple scenery. Queue lines and plazas have always been a cool concept to me. Nothing too fancy right now, but I am going to flesh it out more with an entrance plaza, signs, generic objects, etc. Then with some trees and bushes and maybe a family coaster the scene will fully come together. Getting close! Let me know what you guys think.
