I am planning on buying an Amusement Today Subscription, but I also know there are others (ie. Amusement Business, Park World) and I was wondering which magazine would be geared closer to enthusiats?[:)]

ermm, the magazines most aimed at an enthusiast is from an offical coaster clud such as ACE or ECC. But i think with them you signed up a membership where you receive a magazine every so often and other gifts and your also invited to hang out with the other memebers of the clud at theme parks. Theres quite a few clubs around but i dont like the idea as such. ACE is probaly the best renownd club, but whatever floats your boat

I have been a member of ACE since 1992. It has annual dues of $50. With the membership you get a Bi-monthly ACE newsletter and a quarterly magazine Rollercoaster. They also have ACE merchandise and a roller coaster calendar. ACE sponsors some events at parks and some parks do offer discounts to ACE members. It is a great group of people but there are other clubs that are cheaper to join and will also get you into park sponsored events like Cedar Point's Coaster Mania. You can checkout ACE at www.aceonline.org or search for other coaster clubs. Good luck.

I actually belonged to ACE a few years ago, and I think I will try something else to see if I like it, and if not, I will go back to ACE. Thanks for the advice.[approve]
