^ I've heard once that almost 100% riders can even put their arms out to the side on Space Mountain because the catwalk is far enough from them. Correct me if I am wrong.

That seems true, but don't forget that these Mack trains have a heartline of roughly 3ft higher then the Space Mountain cars. Suddenly height clearance seems more the issue, together with the added forces due the higher heartline.

Yeah that was more what I was getting at rather than free movement of body :)

The test video looks good so far. I really hope it will go higher on that back spike! Also the trains are a lot longer than I expected! Maybe a little bit more speed throughout the layout too. Although I don't think it will be much looking at the speed on those little hills before the final roll.

I don't think they built the spike that tall to only have it head up the spike halfway. It'll probably go a bit faster in the future.
