can you show me how to get nice, relatively straight track on angles that don't correspond the lines in the grid without doing a bunch of slope calculations and placing reference free nodes??

just highlight the track and press "I" if you want it slopes alternate beweten front and right/left views and then go back to top and straiten it out(but it should be pretty strait) also you could use the SNap to get it fairly strait.

tarzanman - a little thing a found which helped me out on that is... well first off you need to toolbox for NL (www.gravimetricstudios.com) Then open up your uncompleted track with the toolbox. Then there should be a tabbed named rotate, and thats exactly what you do, you rotate the track so the section you are about the create would line up straight on the grid. Onced youve completed that piece of track you can move the track back round

edge - that sounds like a plan...albit a very time-consuming one - lol. I'll give that a try & see how it works...the othe roption is writing a TI83 calculator program to spit out the proper coordinates for a given length in relation to a first set...

I dont think you cant buy it at a store. You have to go to http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/ and order it off of there.

Something I saw recently at the local Circuit City store. A No Limits demo was on one of those compilation budget title cds. It freaked me out at first. I thought No Limits had gone commercially, but upon further inspection, it was just a demo. Nonetheless, it was still neat to see it on the shelf.

By the way, No Limits is only available as a download unfortunately.
