As many suspected phantasialand started construction on the open area between Berlin and Fantasy, this area used to have Race for Atlantis. Nobody has any idea what could be going here.

That's a joke right? What complaint could they have possibly given?

They should only be allowed to complain about the coaster being built too far away from them.

Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

From https://www.phantafriends.de/topic/1466 ... parkplatz/
The parking lot is getting a big expansion
Image
EDIT: rumours are going about that this parking lot will replace the smaller parking lot across the street at the Berlin area for future expansion
Red is the new one, Green is the old one
Image
This means the Berlin entrance of the park could dissapear.

Tobi is a Phantasialand fan who created a realistic layout of Taron in Nolimits while they were building the track. He just went to Phantasialand to take a look at the building site and recreated it. Looks like they are still busy with ground work.

If I understand it correctly, the red path is just temporary to transport the machinery.

I Highly doubt they would ditch the berlin entrance, it would pretty much kill the popularity of the mainstreet
Now usually there would be a banner image here, but i cant add one. have some random text instead

For the majority of the guests the mainstreet is just a way to travel between Berlin and Deep in Africa and hopefully in the future a new expansion/ride, the Berlin entrance is barely used.
I hope they ditch it personally.

^^ They don't have to ditch the Berlin entrance:

Image

The red area is their Berlin area with the entrance and the blue area is their new building area which is shown in the images of Tobi. They are pretty close to each other but nothing of Berlin should have to change.

The area is bigger then I originally thought. This could be something interesting. But so close after Taron? I doubt it's something major.

I know that but I've seen a master plan a few years ago where they planned build a bridge over the road at the Berlin entrance and build a new area over there. (or a water park, hotel resort, ...)
I'm talking about the distant future, not the near one.

The detail they put into everything is almost Disney level, I am seriously impressed with Phantasialand! Good to see them doing the right thing with the theming too.
I'm not brand new to NL2 so ignore how many posts I have atm, I post a lot other places :)

Almost? As far as I can see Phantasialand's attention to detail has absolutely outdone Disney in every respect.

Is that a rapids ride or one of those big fat boat rides that goes "splooosh"?

So between that and Chiapas they probably have the best water rides in the world.
