Vekoma Firestorm - Vinpearl Thu Thiem Vietnam

You might remember this coaster model Vekoma showed off at IAPPA. Well track is now on site in Vietnam for the first model and the park also ordered an SFC and minetrain. The red track is the firestorm, the yellow is the SFC, and the gray is the minetrain.

They're currently undergoing a theme park boom right now. The old Hard Rock Park coasters were all transported to Vietnam as well.

I can't wait to see the first trains rolling over that launched Vekoma. Should be something good!

...does anyone wonder what happened to this park and more importantly, it's coasters????

Well, turns out this park never happened and so two of the coasters (The Vekoma Mine Train & Suspended Family Coaster), was sent to another Vinpearl Land Park in H???i An. Here's a link the rcdb page which features images of the coasters and the park in general: https://rcdb.com/16441.htm

So you're probably wondering about the Firestorm at this point. Well, until fairly recently, it was stored near the site of were the Ho Chi Minh park would have been:

But now the coaster has moved to another Vinpearl Land park on the Island of Ph?? Qu???c as part of a big expansion. The coaster has already arrived and vertical construction has begun:

Its also been reported that this park is also going to recieve an enclosed Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster 453m with theming done by Jora Vision.
