I dont get why everyone has to add "congrats to the winners". I dont feel any more special by you guys saying that. The only reason I can gather is people scamming meanlings posts to add to their post counts. [stoning]

yes, keep doing the awards. Before DE@NO even mentioned about just saying Congrats to the winners is just to raise your post number, I didn't even think of that. I just feel like i'm being nice to the winners.

lol I made a bit of a mess here havent I. No I would hate to see the awards stopped. Im sorry if everyone took my message the wrong way. It just seems so cheesy when 15 people say congrats. Winning the awards are more than enough congratulations. But when we get a whole heap of people saying congrats it just feels like there is too much icing on the cake.

You are just spoiled with all your medals [;)]. If people win their first medal ever they do really appreciate it when someone congratulates them with it. Not all members think so, I also think some would agree with you. I also agree with you a bit that the award is enough of a congratulation. Anyway, if you don't feel the need to congratulate someone then just don't do it.

Hey, I was just wondering, how do you give out awards? Is it rating based or based on how origional the track is or whatever?

Rating based, on highest overall ratings, per week, per simulator [:)]
